Recent scam on FB about Pre-Order Mobile

Hi Lyn,

Just to share this information to reveal scammer identity. I don't know if I post on the right forum category, if there is one specific for scam, please direct me to the right channel.

Recently over a post in FB, this guy known as Roger, my known friend for quite some time but have not contacted for few years. He seem a normal businessman and I did not know about his past. Over his facebook Mun Loong (Joker), he posted some phone that he can get in cheap price, reason that one of a branch located in Melaka is closing soon. So he can get the phone with cheap price and also with pre order condition.

Not knowing any suspicious activities happen by a 'KNOWN' friend, indeed.. I wasn't suspect anything. I made some pre order with this guy, banked into to his account in CIMB. The next day we were suppose to meet to deliver the good, but he did not show up.

Fast forward...
After one day, he contacted me via FB that he got attacked and lost the good and also admitted to hospital. Feeling suspicious that he blocked me from commenting his mobile post, he gave many reason to delay and excuse from returning the money. Gave him some time to settle this but he keep on delaying and went missing.

Without hesitate, I went to logged police report and posted this whole scenario in FB. POST

Please help to circulate or share. I just hope this can help to prevent him looking for new prey/victims.

PS : He is forging fake receipt issued by EJ Mobile located at Pertama Complex. If anyone know the owner or staff, please alert them.
I hope with the power of community, we can make minimize the same situation from happening to others.
