New laptop suggestion

Hi guys,

Need your advice on which model should I go for 15.6 inches laptop between the budget of 2-3k

I'm going to use for :

Web browsing
Downloading
Movie to my TVs using HDMI
Couple of statistics software for my wife research (main point)
She prefer 15.6 because it have numerical pad on the keyboard

I have seen 2 model at the moment

HP Pavilion 15 ab572 & Asus A555lf

Any other better suggestion from the above?

Hello Guys,

Just making a poll between the 3 cars above, since we have quite a good promotion for the above cars.
I am looking to choose between them.

Toyota Altis 1.8g (Max 7k promo this month)
-decent car
-comfortable
- decent rear legroom
- nice ride
- good RV (probably my least priority) gonna use them at least 7yrs

* absence of VSC
*seems like i dont get for what i paid (expensive)

Mazda 3 CKD (Not sure about promo but CKD itself is a promo to me)
- stunning design
- better performance than altis
- full of gadget
- decent handling
-awesome interior

*boot space a bit smaller
*rear leg room quite tight

Jetta 1.4 tsi (0% DP & 0% interest) 9yrs is 0.55%
- powerful car
- awesome handling
- large boot space
- what you need is there

*reliability might be a concern
*DSG7 Issues even though many says resolved
* design wise quite boring
*interior is basic

Hello Frens,

Appreciate ur advise on above topic. Currently searching for laptop for my wife, usage only for surfing, light entertainment and her thesis. She prefer big screen, dunno how big but bigger than my 10inch netbook as she keep on complaining that is too small for her to do work and do not have DVD rom

I saw one sony vaio model price around 2.2k with i3 processor is it a good deal? I prefer toshiba laptop but not sure hw much the price. Any reccomendation LYNers?

Streamyx Vs UBroadband

guys, I need ur kind feedback.. I hv been using streamys at 1mbps for almost two years.. price is at RM77... and I only pay for streamyx because the telephone line is under my parents name.

but now, I am moving to a new house on my own.. at serdang area.. If i were to move my streamyx this time I have to bare the telephone line rental cost.

I want to know hw good is streamyx compare to other broadband services. I am not a heavy user.. recently I got to know U mobile broadband plan at RM68 with fair usage policy.. 3.6mbps unlimited data.

is streamyx is still good compare to this? I never used any other broadband before, so far streamyx is okay to me not to say good just okay.
