Can Time Huawei Modem/Router work with MESH?

Hello Sifu,

My condo recently installed Time Internet, and I'm new to Time.

It only comes with 1 device which is Huawei HG8145V5 (Modem / Router 2 in 1), and the WiFi coverage a bit bad inside my bedroom. So I plan to buy 2 TP-Link X20 Mesh routers (1 put beside the modem/router, another put inside my room.

But I've heard from my colleague (not sure how accurate is that) Huawei Router / Modem doesn't works very well with TP-Link Mesh routers because Huawei Router dual band WiFi are in 1 SSID and it switch automatically depends on signal strength , but TP-Link router will need to have 2 SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz. So I not sure should I buy TP-Link Mesh Router or some Huawei Mesh Router. Any suggestion?

Also, can I use Huawei HG8145V5 solely as modem, and add on another TP-Link router like AX73?

No more Unifi 5Mbps & 10Mbps by 2017?

I just got a call from TM, and the lady told me that my 10Mbps plan will be no more by next year as TM going to "upgrade" all their plan to minimum 30Mbps. Means no more 5Mbps and 10Mbps in the market, minimum is 30Mbps by 2017. Is this true?

I got few calls from TM months back that offer me to upgrade my 10Mbps to 20Mbps plan. And I always choose to decline the offer back then. And this time, the lady said if I do not subscribe (yes, it is subscribe, not upgrade) this 30Mbps plan, by 2017, TM will terminate my 10Mbps service. Means I really can't say NO (insist want to retain the 10Mbps plan) this time?

And the lady also said if I subscribe the 30Mbps now, by 2017, I could get free upgrade 50Mbps with remain the price of RM179. This is an rebate that TM give back the subscriber who subscribe before 2017. Is this true? Unable get any info from their site, need someone to verify this, thanks.

Can we open parcel before signing?

I've been purchasing stuffs from online quite a while, and recently there are a lot of cases that people received their parcels with damaged items or missing items, and I saw many people advise us to 'Open and Check' (in front of the delivery man) before signing and receive the items, in case the items were not right, we can refuse to receive the parcels, the courier service will then return to the sender.

So here is my question, do we really have the right to open up the parcels that addressed to us, and check everything properly then only sign and receive the item? Will the delivery man / postman allowed us to do so?

Delivery men usually have to rush the schedule to deliver a lot of parcels in a day, which makes me wonder, if some receivers did open parcel to check, it may caused the delivery men behind their delivery schedule, so is the open and check before sign and receive process really possible here in Malaysia?

What if, the parcels were addressed to someone else, do I have the right to open on his behalf to check if the item in great condition before receiving it?

If we can really open the parcels, and refuse to receive the items, are courier services gonna return to the sender?

Hi forumers, i would like to sell off my used iPad 3rd generation, i got this from a lucky draw and used for a year plus. The original USB cable skin was broken, but still functionable. However, I've also include a 3rd party USB cable which work just like the Ori one. Besides, it has small scratches at the edge but not the front or the back of the iPad because it is fully protected by flip cover and screen protector.
