iphone 3g accelerator issue

Hi guys,

I have some accelerator issue with my iphone 3g (singtel set).

Issue:
When openning iPint (a free app), can show that my accelerator is totally lose.
It keeps moving to my left bottom side.

I bought it from someone else (rather than signing a plan with singtel).

So what should I do now? To get it replaced or repaired?

Rare / Weird Problem with RAM

I actually got a really weird and rare problem.

Look at the Slot1 and Slot3. They actually got different Part Number and different Frequency. I suspect there is something wrong with the RAM.

(Though, I actually suspect CPU-Z too; So, I have tested with other System Information software, which gave me the same result)

I decided to test them one by one. So, firstly I will put single ram (which was previously in Slot3) and look at the picture below.

Slot 1: (This is the correct one)

It is exactly the statistics of Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX (400MHz at 4-4-4-12).

And below is the Vista Score (please look at the Memory Score)

It scores 5.1 in Memory.

Okay. Everything is done, so I changed to the other pair of RAM in. Ran the CPU-Z, and below is what I got

Slot 2: (The incorrect one)

As I expected, 8500C5D would be running at 533MHz (5-5-5-15) or 400MHz (5-5-5-18). It is not a Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX. It must be something wrong with Corsair.

Same as the previous step, I ran the Vista Performance test. Below is what I got…

Surprisingly, it scores 5.6 in Memory (RAM). Clearly, it is really not a Corsair CM2X2048-6400C4DHX.

I will try to get some helps from where I bought it. Hopefully it could be solved (exchange a new one or whatever) easily =P

Hi, please look at the image below...

I actually bought TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX
but somehow, when I open CPU-Z
it shows me CM2X2048-8500C5D and CM2X2048-6400C4DHX

I would like to know it there any problem or should I ask about it

Hi guys. I am planning to get a new pc. The specs are:

CPU: C2Q Q6600 2.4GHz, 8MB Cache, 1066MHz
Mobo: Asus P5Q Pro
GPU: Asus 9800GTX, 512MB, 256bit, DDR3
RAM: Corsair Dominator XMS2 8500C5D DDR2 1066MHz, 4GB
LCD: Samsung 22" T220
HDD: 500GB SATA II, 3Gb/s, 32MB Cache
DVD-RW: Pioneer DVDRW
Casing: Cooler Master CM690
PSU: Silverstone ST56F

I would like to ask, how many Watts do I need for the specs?
I am not going to over clock.

Please advice the PSU brand and watts please.

Tell me if any of my specs is not recommended. Thanks ^.^

Upgrading Laptop RAM

my laptop was Dell Inspiron 600m bought on 2003 Dec
(quite a old one)

I wan to upgrade my RAM now
Dell sales person quoted me
"DIMM,1GB,333,64X64,8K,200" RM677

I think the price is quite high
so I am thinking is it possible to upgrade myself
(buy in lowyat, etc)

lagging with centrino processor

I bought this laptop in dec 2003

dell inspiron 600m
intel 1.6m centrino processor
512mb ram
64mb raedon 9000
60gb hdd

first year is fine, it works perfectly

second year onwards, i got this problem.

while I playing dota or maple (fullscreen with high resolution graphic games), after playing a short period (like 30min or 1hour), my laptop will become very laggy, and i go right click my computer > propertises, will find that my processor speed slowed down to 600mhz

i heard centrino processor got the ability to control processor speed, depends on the heats and tasks. but can I disable this ability as I will get dc from dota if it happens.

do you guys face this problem before?
