Krr 150 bike problem

hi /k/ i just bought a krr 150 today in the afternoon, drove to office but now I can't start it?

Before this when you put in the key there's an indicator for neutral gear but now there's no light? Is the battery dead? I dont know whats wrong, is it possible i left the lights on or something, but i didnt see any lights. The bike is brand new.

Smooching girls held by Tawau authorities

KOTA KINABALU: Two teenage Muslim girls were arrested by state Islamic officials for hugging and kissing each other publicly in Tawau.

The girls aged 16 and 17 were detained along Jalan Pesisiran during an integrated operation by the Sabah Islamic Religious Affairs Department together with the Tawau Municipal Council on Tuesday.

The department's officer Abdul Imam Basiron said the two girls faced charges under Section 83 of the Syariah Criminal Offences Enactment 1995 that carries a maximum fine of RM1,000 or jail of up to six months or both upon conviction.

I've some basic to intermediate knowledge but have never taken an I.T degree, currently in a support role.

Am taking MCITP and learning LPIC1 & CCNA

But Windows registry, windows scripting and power shell scripting is a little bit more difficult.

To put it simply I want to learn how the kernel is built, how it's programmed. How the registry is built to understand the registry itself and how it interacts with different software, materials.

Would also like to understand how rootkits work but that will be how well I understand how Windows operate from the kernel up. Learning Linux has been more straightforward.

Appreciate if any of the gurus can guide me towards materials, books, online sites that would be able to aid my progress.

Police traffic summons question

Hi /k. Need your help.

Went this morning to Traffic police HQ in KL. The closed the queue, said they only accept 460 numbers each day.

Will you get the 50% discount if you pay online? eg: http://www.rilek.com.my/

The site has been slow perhaps due to high traffic.

The police said that i can pay in selected post offices but i dont know if the discount is valid, can i? Anyone paid online and got the 50%

I'm not sure whether i should repair the car and sell it or sell it straight

Car Condition/Specs
- Year 1999
- Wira Aeroback 1.3 Manual.
- Been in some minor accidents i've not repainted so the replacement parts are black. Some scratches too.
- Car condition is so so.
- Most of the tyres are new.
- Engine cond is so-so
- Mileage 70k +

If i sell it, i'll let it go cheap at 6-8k. Considering that the buyer would need 2-3k+ to touch up. 4-5k If he wants to make it look spankily brand new. Which still isn't too bad considering he gets to choose the colour and he'll know that everything he replaced is new, not that im selling him a con job.

So any advise because i dont feel like spending money to sell it. I check the market rate and it's anywhere from 12-17k for cars around my range.

If you scrap your car will you get 5k? How do i go about doing it? In case im too lazy to wait for a buyer.

Side questions
- Does jpj summons affect you when you're buying new cars and applying for road tax, i know police summons will block road tax applications, how about jpj do i have to clear it all before buying a new car?
