Hi all. Would like to ask seniors/sifus who applied ntu last year just one qn:

For the supporting documents- stpm overall and each semester result slips, since I opted for sem 3 retake:

1) can I just upload the result slip shown online (without getting it certified by school)

2) can I just upload the overall results for the each semester result slips portion (since it reflects all 3 terms grades anw)

hi all. just gotten my STPM results- science stream with a CGPA of 3.84

May I ask (for those who graduated one batch before mine) with this result, what are my chances of entering local research uni for mechanical engineering courses, as well as NTU or NUS?

I have completed STPM, gotten my results and are currently waiting for sem 3 retake results.

Need some advice on recommended unis which I can enter/apply, since my results are not good at all: CGPA 2.00 with principal passes in PA and Chem. I am currently looking at Business/Commerce courses.

Hi all,

Need some advice here on university admission (post STPM).

I have gone through most university admission requirements, would like to clarify on them:

1) Minimum of 2 principal passes in relevant subjects
2) Minimum of 2 principal passes

My questions are:

1)What constitutes "relevant subjects"? (not mentioned in the requirements)
2)Can PA be one of the 2 principal passes?
3)What are the chances of getting admitted to IPTA with 2 principal passes

Hi. I am thinking of upgrading the RAM for my macbook. I have been asking around, and it seems that only DDR2 800 RAMs are available in the market now. My current macbook is using DDR2 667 RAMs. So if I upgrade it to 4GB using DDR2 800 RAMs, it shouldn't be a problem right? Just that it will run at 800mhz? And also, kingston RAMs are compatible with it? No freezing or any issues? Thanks.

Hi. Planning to buy a notebook to run basically the daily applications such as msn, windows media player, firefox or safari. Will need to use adobe photoshop, flash, illustrator etc. Just wondering, for smooth usage of the adobe apps listed, do I need more RAM(eg 3gb and above) or a decent graphic card? Not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask. Thank you in advance.=)

Anyone managed to run Win7 Ultimate smoothly on their laptops with 1GB ram? I tried running it on my laptop, but when I was just using MSN, Firefox and Windows Media Player, it says that I need more memory to run these applications. Just want to find out whether is it my system requirements problem or some software problem. Thanks in advance
