Yet once more, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering discounts of up to 50% on selected traffic summonses in another special campaign, this time in Kuantan, Pahang on July 5 to 7, in conjunction with the Program Madani Rakyat 2024 Zon Timur event.

For motorists in the east coast, this will be a good opportunity to take advantage of the limited-time discount offer. Traffic summons payment counters will be opened at the Dataran Sayangi Kuantan space from 9am to 4pm on those dates.

As before, the discounted rates will not be offered for summonses issued for offences such as red light offences, emergency lane misuse, dangerous overtaking and overtaking across double lines. Summonses for which discounts are also not applicable include non-compoundable offences, court appearance offences, offences involving lorries and modified exhaust-related offences.

Traffic police sergeant gave an unfair verdict?

Had an accident. While at the red traffic light, my car was not moving, then a car driven by a 80+ year old Malay pakcik knocked my car causing damage on my car. He said he would pay me once I’ve fixed my car, I said I couldn’t trust anyone. He asked me not to trust him, but trust allah.

Went to traffic police station to report. The sergeant asked me to use his recommended workshop to fix the car, but I declined.

Two weeks later I went to collect the investigation result. The result stated no one was at fault and no one would be penalized. Basically it means I had to claim my insurance instead of the other party. Well, I clearly wasn’t at fault.

Went to see the sergeant. He told me the result was written that way as he was waiting for the CCTV recording. Once he gets the recording he would update the result. So for now no action is taken.

I have a feeling he’s bullshitting me, and gonna drag the case or leave it as is. What else can I do? Is there a window I must get my car fixed after an accident? I do not want to claim my insurance as I am totally not at fault.

The company is either called Extreme Accessories or Skywin Car Accessories & Tint Shop, located in Puchong. It states that it uses Sunscape from USA, but in actual the shop uses Nano film (http://www.nanofilm.co.kr/us/index.htm) from Korea. Even if you call them to confirm before going, they will say they use USA film.

Workmanship is not good. While no bubbles, but lots of dust.

Procedure in selling car without owner present
