Irresponsible retailer

Guys and girls, pls be careful of this retailer at lowyat plaza.

MS Distribution Sdn Bhd located at 1st floor lowyat plaza.
Items sold by them are handphones, memory cards and thumb drives.

The following is my experience with this retailer.

I saw this product SDA-1800 dual sdhc adapter which converts 2 x 16 gb micro sdhc to memory stick pro duo for used with PSP system at this shop.
The sales assistant was very polite and confirm the it can work with my PSP 1000(phat) system.

After purchasing this for RM 30, I when ahead to purchase to 2 x 16 gb micro sdhc and tested it with my psp. I immediately noted that the SDA-1800 does not recognize the 2 x 16 gb micro sdhc as 32gb but as 16 gb.

After searching the net for info on this and trying various ways to reformat the 2 x 16gb micro sdhc, I diagnose that there is no problem with my two sdhc but it seems that the adapter is faulty.

Therefore I when back to the shop and was attended by another sales assistant. He was polite too but to my surprise he say I must speak to the same sales assistant who sold me the product which was not available at the moment. He then says that this product is like that and user should only use the first slot of the adapter and the second slot does not function. I told him that the package clearly says that it support 2 slots for 2 x 16gb micro sdhc and even the manual says that. He then told me another customer has the same problem and the product is like that when they bought it from the manufacturer.

I was clearly piss but I remain calm and told him that whatever problem between them and the manufacturer they should sort it out and not pass it to the customer. Furthermore it is clearly a misrepresentation of specification on the package manual and also on their part as they did not inform customers on it.

He still insisted that he cannot do anything and it is like that, so I ask him nicely to refer me to his manager as I know he cannot make any decision on that. He was reluctant and I proceeded to give him and example: I ask him if he buys a car that states the car came with ABS brake, but later find out that it does not, will he be piss and can the sales person says that his unit is like that when it came out of the production plant and no refund or anything can be done.

He was silence for a moment and then he finally went and ask for his colleague which I assume this idiot is the manager or a senior.

The idiot came over and then say that the adapter supports only 2 x 8 gb micro sdhc. I then pointed on a logo on the package which clearly says that it support 2 x 16gb, and then he pretended and say the person who sold me the unit should have told.
Bullshit!!! pls bullshit to someone else u idiot.

Then this idiot recognize that I am going to stand my ground and not let the matter go their way so he went and get an adapter of another brand ( Photofast CR-5400) which I have done my homework on it. He show it to me and say this is new and this is a demo unit and ask me to try now.

When I saw this Photofast CR-5400 I immediately notice its a fake and I told him that as I have read from the internet.
To my surprise again he says if it is not fake it won't be so cheap and ask me to try it.

Well I did and it does format the 2 x 16gb as 32gb of space, but I have doubts whether to take this demo fake unit which has a crack on it, and it may not run the PSP games correctly since its a fake.

After that he asked me to change to other products, which I have clearly don't need any of them for the current moment. I told him why not they refund to me as it is a misrepresentation on the product but he denied.

( Before I forget, why I call him and idiot is because all this while when he was attending to me I can see that his facial expression is that I was the one at fault and I should live with it)

He did ask me to try another unit SDA-1800 which also fail.
So Mr. Idiot, if you are so sure the the SDA-1800 can only support 2 x 8gb of micro SDHC, why did u ask me to try another unit?

Mr. Idiot then proceeded to say the he will sent my SDA-1800 for warranty claim on it. Hello??? do u think I'm an idiot like U.
IF my unit and the other unit he let me try fails to recognize 2 SDHC on my PSP what is the chances it will get a good unit since he says all customer face the same problem.

Lastly, noticing that I a not going to get anywhere from this, I proceeded to exchange it for a thumbdrive which I have to top up RM4 for it.
The thumb drive is a fake product too as it has HP logo on it but I can tell its a fake from the package but what to do I don't have any choice.
Luckily this thumb drive does work.

So my point is this shop sells products that does not work to its indicated functions and they are not responsible for it.

Those who are unlucky to have purchase from this shop may face getting a fake product and worst the product does not work and the idiot may come and show u his F****K face, and tell u grandmother story.

To the two sales assistant, both of u have good attitude towards customer but it is clear that u guys are under the pay of this company and as such can't do much, but I suggest u guys switch job asap as it will land u in trouble with other customers and tainted image for yourself in the future.
