Hi all, my house recently got "blessed" with unifi 50mbps package. The access point is on the ground floor of the house but my desktop./gaming pc is in my study room also on the same floor. Ethernet cable is not possible so am looking for a good wireless PCi card I can fix into my pc. Came across the SUS 4x4 802.11AC Wireless-AC3100 PCIe Adapter (PCE-AC88) and it is very high end but not sure is it worth it for my speed.

Maybe if I have google fiber so please can sifus help me? should I get this one or if not, what other brands or models I should look at?

Question on what masters program to take

I have a degree in business, currently in a sales + marketing role for about 5 years already. Role is senior representative.

Thinking of getting a masters because I'm looking to increase my knowledge and also in case I might need it to be more qualified to move into management.

Problem 1 )
My problem is I'm not sure what Masters to take.

If I compare the syllabus of my business degree to the masters offered by Inti college / Universiti sains malaysia, etc then they are very identical. Will I really be able to benefit or I will end up studying more or less the same thing again?

Problem 2 )
What to specialize in?

As I am currently passionate in marketing, I feel I should take the marketing specialization but not sure if there is any demand or future in that cert.

My other choice is to give myself some technical knowledge and take a Finance specialization instead. But, as I am not in the finance field, I'm not sure what good will it do for me.

Please help!

Proc : i5-2500k @ 3.3 ghz (2nd gen)
GPU : Geforce gtx 560
Ram : 4gb

MY GFX card recently died and I'm looking to replace it. Wondering if I get the GTX 960 Phantom2048MB GDS for RM 879 ( source : IdealTech) Can my current hardware support it?

After playing games like dota 2 or tf2 for 30 mins, my pc will go black screen. Sonetimes it recovers then says "nvidia kernel driver 340.52 has crashed and successfully recovered".

Sometimes it wont recover and pc will run but no graphics?? Force me to hard reset the pc each time.

Anyone know what the problem is???

Gaining exposure as a fresh grad

If someone graduates with a degree that did not provide the person with the right technical skills and exposure, how would that person eventually venture into their field of interest?

For example, a student majoring in Business Administration decides that they would want to pursue a career in another field such as Accounting or IT.

a) Do they work other jobs as they collect their CPA/ACCA/ Masters and then hope that a company will eventually hire them when they graduate,
or
b) Do they try to enter a company that operates in the related field, and hope that the employer will give them a chance to learn something that is completely new to the graduate?

From my point of view, both options don't seem very feasible to young graduates these days and while some maybe lucky enough to discover their passion in their freshman year, there will be others that might need a little more time to discover their passion. For those that discover them later on in life, is it fair to say that its already too late for them to have a fair shot at pursuing something they didn't think of pursuing in university?

What should these people do?

Hi all,

I am near my 30's and decided that I would like to pursue a CPA. I have a UK degree in business but almost zero knowledge of accounts which means I will need to take the foundation level papers.

I have some questions;

1)Where can I take the CPA in penang?
2)Can it be done online or do I have to attend a university that offers CPA / at the CPA office?
3)Is there any form of financial assistance provided by CPA?

Would appreciate it greatly if I can get some feedback on this.

Hi all,

I have decided to make take the plunge and get engaged to my gf. For this special occasion I have decided to hold it in Singapore (both of us have never been there before). We will be staying in a hotel on Pulau Sentosa.

Here's what I have done so far :
- Bought a nice engagement ring already
- made special booking with the hotel team to deco the room
- The hotel team needs 2 hours to prepare the room so I arranged for them to do it during dinner time, 7 pm to 9 pm

My Questions :
1) anyone can recommend me a nice restaurant on Sentosa to go to? Preferably western food
2) Anything romantic we can do there at night? Heard there was light festival every night or something

Looking for advice from people who know their whereabouts in the area i'm looking at.

Dear all,

I am thinking of pursuing an MBA in Banking and Finance from Lim Kok Wing University in Cyberjaya, KL. Here are some facts about it

- Total cost : Rm 30K for Malaysian students
- Completion time : 1.5 years (full time)

I am told that their classes run for the whole day and as such, I can choose any shift I want to go study. I work in the night shift so I can attend the morning shift classes which is awesome.

My question is :
1 - The length of time for completing an MBA is so short. As compared to MMU (full time 2 to 3 years)
2 - How much "quality" does the MBA cert provide? (World wide recognition? etc)

Just want to weigh in my options before I take the plunge. I just started working so I plan to take up a personal loan. I want to get the best value for my money
