My PS3 is also wired directly to my router. I am running an external 1TB hard drive to the computer. I am trying to stream video files to the PS3. They are standard definition, probably DVD quality. The PS3 is running HDMI to the TV. The PS3 Media Server is set up correctly, at least as far as that the PS3 recognizes it, and is able to see the video files perfectly.<br /><br />When attempting to play a video file, anything from a 15 minute video to 3 hour video, a few seconds into the playback - the video stream begins to freeze. Occasionally I get an error about DLNA not responding. Other times it just studders very bad through the video. It will freeze for a few minutes, then play a few seconds of video. The audio usually cuts out, as well.<br /><br />Does anyone have any advice for how I can fix this problem? I can watch the videos fine on the PC, but would prefer the PS3 because of the bigger screen and ease of using a controller for everything. Plus, its nice having everything going through the same media center.
