I need to develop an application which can get the joint data from the kinect and then manipulate the application with those data. But I have no idea how to do that. What platform should I be

dealing with? XNA, WPF or any other? If I design the models of the app with 3dvia, how do I use it in my program? What format should I export to? Any expert please enlighten me. Any good

tutorial for beginner would be very much appreciated.

weird problem

My screen went blank as the kinect usb touches the casing usb port when I was trying to plug it in. When I did this, the power of kinect in on and I got shocked when I touched the usb. After that I tried to press the restart button but nothing happens, it wouldn't restart. Then I force shut down and the screen works fine back. Anyone knows what's wrong? I thought it's gonna be trouble but then it works fine again....
