Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Board Problem

Hi guys, i've got a Asus A8N SLI Deluxe running perfectly fine for nearly 2 years already until yesterday, when i find that my pc wont power up at all.

The LED at the bottom of the mobo lighten up as usual, but i couldn't power up even though i've shorted the power up jumpers.

At first i suspected that my Acbel 450W psu was kaput so i swapped a Thermaltake 500W psu and it was still the same. Then i swapped my A64 3000+ proc and Corsair DDR400 value select RAMs to my friends pc and they are all fine. In the end, even with just the processor plugged in the mobo just won't power up at all.

Has anyone encountered anything like this in the past? My last resort is to send them back to Asus to claim warranty which i really don't feel like doing..

This happened on last sunday, organized by Autobavaria. An event for owners of their Mini's to have some fun on the race tracks. I managed to tag along a friend and it's my first time shooting something like this.. pretty fun but the arms were screaming sun burn!!!

Finally picked up my unit along with Airbag_grado just now from mikechai. Plenty of pics for you guys to check out the build quality.

Some impressions here:

It's smaller than what i thought. Build finish feels and looks solid enough, at least it's not flimsy and doesn't feel plasticky.

Sound quality is an immediate step up from my soundcard and the headphone out isn't as bad as i thought. At least around the same standard as a 12V powered pimeta i reckon, my HD650 bass sounds tighter and instrument seperation is very good It might be that the DAC is that good that i'm mistaking it for the quality of the amp though..
