ok, here is my little personal opinion. if anything stated wrong, pls correct me.
kindly pls no argument here if possible.
pls remember this sentence while proceed reading, "i didnt mean Digi is the best, but at least, for the time being, i choosed/switched to the smarter side,Digi, and im from maxis for 7 yrs. maybe in 1 or 2 yrs time, i may switch to celcom or maxis, if their rate n package is smarter n cheaper, who knows"

for monthly usage RM 0 - RM 30
Prepaid
Call.............Digi - 36sen / 48sen........Hotlink - 33sen/36sen/49sen

maxis 33sen only applicable with RM30 reload/month (if ur monthly usage is above rm30, i prefer u choose postpaid plan)
otherwise maxis remains 36sen to maxis, 49sen to other network
if u switch to digi prepaid now, u can enjoy 1 year promotion 36 sen to all network.
telco package changes from time to time, hey, if 1 yr later maxis is cheaper, switch back to maxis, but for now, sure switch to digi is smart choice.

Sms............Digi - 10sen....................Hotlink - 7sen/15sen
i understand maxis user is more than digi/celcom(thats why i was stay with maxis postpaid package rm138 for 7yrs)
but come to think of it, maxis to maxis's 7sen,after u switched to digi, u spend 3 more cent for maxis friend, but save 5sen for digi and celcom and u-mobile friend.
more interesting thing is, normally ur sms spend on friends. so u should only deeply consider the sms charges when it comes to "friends" package charges as below:

maxis offer 10 friend (same network only)'s number can be set for 15sen/min call charges, and 1sen sms
digi offer same as above, plus, 1 more same network friend, and 4 (all network) friend,totally 15 friend number

Mms............Digi - 25sen(all network)....Hotlink - 25sen(maxis only)/50sen(others)

1 year validity.... Digi - RM30...............Hotlink - RM33(and need to reload rm30 in 6 months)
**switch to digi now can enjoy free 1 yr validity

or if compare Digi RM 50 with Maxis RM 50:

not to mention Digi friend number is based on 12 sec charges block. maxis i cannot find info from their web,but should be 30sec block.
smart user should know how efficient the 12sec if compare to 30sec block.
also, maxis offer RM 8 for 500 sms to maxis only. means RM 0.016/sms, and u need to send average 16 sms per day to maxis only, to make it 500 sms monthly.then only it worth the money

others, go discover n compare from their website.
