hi all

actually wanna help my friend to decide.

Situation:

husband - toyota harrier (company car)
wife - honda jazz
currently have 3 kids and 1 more coming jan 2013.

must have 2 cars - different time/work places
husband need 4x4. wife doest care so much what car, as long can go to work.
they need 7 seater vehicle for weekend/holiday/balik kampung trip.

husband new company policy on 2013 - no more company car

they got 2 option :-
Option no 1 - sell jazz. buy 2007/08 recond toyota wish and 2nd gen CRV
Option no 2 - keep jazz. buy new sorento/captiva

maximum allocation - RM2500/mth, the lesser the better

which one is better option?

wife want option no 1
husband choose no 2

for me, i go for option 1 but worried about maintenance/repair - car more than 5 yrs - easily/high chances to breakdown.

please advice.
