Income Tax related Question

Hi

This is case I facing now, I was left my last job and join new company in foreign country, since I have zero awareness of "Tax clearance" and I dont want my ex employer know that I am actually leaving M'sia. I resign without inform them I leavign M'sia.

Issue arise after I aware of "tax clearance" need to be done before leaving country, what should I do now?

1. Just act nothing until coming April, file the income tax usually? and then on next year, keep file income tax as income '0'?

2. go to LDHN to tell them I am now in foreign country?

I think purpose of tax clearance is to avoid ppl didt fulfill the obligation as tax payer after we leave country right? but if I take method 1, it should be ok? I will back to Msia maybe on CNY or couple of days for vacation purpose, I dont think have enough time to settle all those thing,

The main point should be as long as I pay off my income from (JAN-DEC 2017), It will do right?

Hi All,

Just need your all opinion about this, recently I found out my PC with auto restart(no blue screen), when playing AAA games, and check the 12v rail using multimeter, it drops to 11.05V when enter game, this is unacceptable and didt compliance to 12v standard.
When I send to RMA, they just reply it is working fine, it sure working fine when not playing games. It is not fair me unless they also prove that they have at least 11.4V when playing some graphic demand games. They even claimed the issue was because of Dust, Humidity and dirty

1. Dust, as i know dust would only affect your heat dissipation and how come it would make the 12v became 11.05v when running high graphic demand games?

2. Humidity, LOL! even my room humidity is high which is not true( I open Aircon when I was in room,as you know air con room sure make ur humidity low)
how come when reaching their lab to test my psu, the humidity value so relevant and relate to my environment?

3.dirty, I assume it was same as dusty(I think?)

In their reply they kept saying they have a report, but I dont see they attach with it, and they dont even disclose what is the voltage value when running games with at least
1080p, high setting, GTX1060 6GB or equivalent 120W Graphic card

If they can at least provide a photo by using multimeter or any instrument to prove the voltage is compliance to 12v ATX standard which 11.4V is the minimum value, I will just accept my "fate"

Hope the seller wont perfunctory me around and treat me as a fool

*our psu take range from 110v-240v, i dont think unstable of voltage would make any difference. I also have checked my socket, its voltage was stable

Weightlifting in penang

Hi All,

Recently I have strong interest in weightlifting and I try to learn clean and jerk by myself thru youtube
*(snatch I didt learn because my mobility issue, i can deep squat(olympic squat) 120kg but I cant even overhead squat 30 kg in good form)
but I cant train with higher weight because the gym not allowed to drop the barbell, so basically after I performed my clean and jerk, I have to drop down into my knee position and put it down.

So may I ask any gym in Penang allowed member to drop barbell?

Blue screen during gaming

Hi All,

recently my pc always blue screen during gaming, i was using gtx1060, dont know it was driver issue or what,

especially rise of the tomb raider, so easy to blue screen, and witcher 3( blue screen once for 2 times i played it)

Anyone faced the same issue? I was set all the detail into Ultra preference, and i did observe my temp, max only 50-60 degree celcius

**I was playing cracked games anyway, but if it does the reason why my pc blue screen, then maybe it is time to have genuine game ， lol

Streamyx new subscriber promotion

I am an ex-streamyx subscriber, recently, I saw there are promotion for new subscriber, so, I would like to apply streamyx.

for example, 8Mbps, how much I need to pay if all the required cable/port even fixed telephone already there?
Do i still need to pay the activation fee?admin fee?

I remembered got promotion to void activation fee?

Hi, there are range gtx 1060 available in market now, Palit, Zotac, MSI, Gigabyte, Asus

As usual, asus are the most expensive one, and followed by gigabyte. but asus provides better cooling system, overclock ability and even RGB light.

but let say i dont care about light and i didt overclock, which brand is better?

I afraid Zotac and Palit has cooling issue, I did search from internet, but I want feedback from local Malaysia User.

Gtx 1060 owner please give some opinion

There are bunch review out there, but since I will buy the hdd as my backup storage, no need any performance hdd.
So, in term of warranty and reliability of hdd availble in Malaysia, what brand of hdd good to buy?

Toshiba? heard that it has higher performance and reliability with cheaper price?

Land transfer (between family)

Hi,

currently there are one land inherited from my grandfather, the owner of this land was belonged to my father(passed away almost 5 years ago) and my grandmother (passed away almost 10 years ago)

This is a bit complicated issue, because normally it should inherited by my grandmother only, but somehow my father added its name into it out of my grandmother's family financial issue( my father considered bought it), so currently the land owner are kind of joint account (My father, my grandmother)

that land about 6 acres, my father has 2 acres if no mistaken, and the remain 4 acres was belonged to my grandmother.

after my father and grandmothers was passed away, no one was taking care the land ownership transfer and just leave it there. Recently, my uncle and my aunt facing some financial issue, they wanted to sell the land. the issue has arisen.

1. I heard that if someone was passed away, but heir doesnt go for ownership transfer within 1-2 years(if no mistaken), there will be a lot more complicated process have to go thru after that? Is it true?

2. My family dont want to sell the land, so we decided to remain our land (2 acres) along with my grandmother's land
*assume I have 4 uncles and aunts, my father will get 1 acre right?, so total is 3 acres along with 1 acre from my grandmother
*my mother will automatically be part of the land's heir since my father already passed away right?

3. Do i need lawyer in this case, to transfer my father's legacy(land) under my mother's name automatically(even after 5 years my father passed away)?
My father and grandmother didt have any will left behind but I assume my mother shall get my father legacy without will?

4. If lawyer needed, does it costs much?
if no, just go to related Agency(Jabatan ukur tanah) and ask for officer to have a ownership transfer will do? Does it cost much?
*because my family also facing some financial issue, hope can solve it without involve of lawyer.

I would like to ask regarding broadband termination. Today I went to maxis center for termination, they took my IC and afterward said that I would have wait until last bill arrived and pay the bill.

I am wondering how this works? My account will be automatically terminated after I pay the last bill? Without pay visit to maxis center again?

Hi, recently I bought something from USA, because of some reason, I can get those items with almost 40% discount, PC component parts.

I have paid for 592 USD and I tot that the worst case scenario was charged 6% GST or I can just no need to pay anything.

Somehow, DHL called me today my shipment held because of my items charged by GST, only will deliver to me if I clear the amount. I say it is ok since i already have 40% discount.

Somehow the GST been charged is RM161.85!! I thought should be 592 x 6% = 35.53 USD/RM127.82 *592USD include USD32 shipping fee.

I calculate how they declare the value,
161.85/6% = 2697 .5 , almost same as the price if I buy locally! Damn accurate our custom calculation!

So all of you bear in mind that, especially for some courier like DHL, You have almost 0% chance you can get away from GST! LOL

But if you buy from taobao, you can always request them to declare your item below RM200, and my shipment never be been hold before even after GST implemeted.
