Here i supply with more information bout my adapter and LAN switches device.

Adapter :(not the original adapter.. wanna used this adapter to supply current to the below switches. Can arr?)

LAN switches :

I've got 30+ user who are used laptop to access WiFi in my place. But, not all of them are successful to connect at the same time.

The higher successful connecting is around 14 or 15 person at once. And the rest start to cursed me!

Questions:
1. What is the maximum number of user the AP can handle ??
2. How can I combat this problem??

Sory for the newbie question and my wrong term usage.

I'm PHP developer and understand OOP concept but desktop programming make me lost.

Recently, one of my fellas build a cool windows application that can record computer usage, stored it on database and generate the report eg: monthly usage, sorting etc.. He told me that he using C++ to make such program.

I try to imitate the program using VB.NET and C#.NET with .NET Framework 3.5. But look ugly on Win98 and I hate the requirement to install .NET Framework on target machine to ensure my program work well.

My question, how to develop a windows application complete with button, textbox etc (controls) in C++??

What I need is a simple tool/IDE like VB6 that give you ability to drag and drop controls on the form, write a code and debug it. Simple right?

I dont care about smart phone or console applications development. Just rapid and simple windows application development in C++.

Please guide me. Thank you

p/s:
1. Dont like .NET - need to install .NET Framework and lag support on obsolete windows OS.
2. Dont like vb6 - ugly controls - button etc
3. Dont like Java - make me scared
4. Finished Fundamentals of C++ already

Hello guys.. I need your help. If you look at the diagram above you will find that my Workstation and Server not in the same IP range but live in the same subnet.

The goal is simple :

I need to access resource in Server [10.133.235.23] from my workstation [192.168.1.2]. Can I?

but I don't want any node in IP Class A (10.133.235.xxx) to "touch" any resource in IP Class C (192.168.1.xxx) like printer and file sharing or even my Streamyx access!

Can I archive this??

1: Yes there are 2 internet gateway. One for AP and one for the server.
2: I want to build a file server (samba or freeNas) so any workstation from Class A and C can access their account from any workstation.

What is MDI/MDI-X actually??
I've crawling over the net and can't understand a bit about MID/MID-X. What I know is with MDI features we did'nt need the Crossover cable to join two hub together. Is this correct?.

Can someone tell to me how to use it?

My canon IP1000 (retro) wont print any page. It just print blank page and no single ink is print on that page. Try googling but no solution work for me.

Using DDR2-533 in unsupported mobo

Hi fellas!

Need some favor here... I'm really fu*kup today ...

My friends got a new motherboard which is only support DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 only... so he talk to me how do he identify DDR2 memory module (he extremelly fakap in computer maintenance)...

So i give him my DDR2 module which is DDR2-533/PC2-4200... and did't tell him to get 667 or 800 and NOT COPY EXACTLY MY 533 module...

my questin is can we tweak something to make it work? I mean to suit the 533 module to un-supported RAM slot??..

Acer : Blank Screen and CPU Cooler become crazy.

Hey Fellas!

I got an Acer Desktop pc (will update the model nmbr later)

The problem is:

1. Blank monitor during startup - no BIOS logo/message, nothing, just please check signal cable message.

2. Weird CPU Cooler activity - I open the cases and hear the Cooler speed step up and went down a few times repetitive. Sometimes the cooler stop spinning about 3~5 seconds and then goin with crazy speed (unstable spinning).

3. Network port LED not lit when I pinned down the RJ45 connector from switch (the PC was power-on).

And I can't load the windows at all ...I think the mobo or proc are bad.. what your words?

I dont know how to trace the motherboard problem... please help..

Some Spec
- Pentium 4 HT (LGA 775)
- 2 sticks 256 MB RAM
- Built-in VGA and Sound.

I've tried reset the RAM seat, change different monitor, cleaning the CPU but didn't touch the mobo..

Laptop PSU very sensitive!
