gen2 cps problem

Guys help me out here. I bought a 2ndhand 2008 manual gen2 cps about a month ago.
Just now as I was driving at 90 km/h the engine suddenly died and the check engine light came on. Luckily I was able to pull aside slowly.
It wouldn't start for a bit, then after waiting awhile it started, but after a few pushes on the fuel pedal the engine died again then wouldn't start. I checked the radiator, the fans, disconnected the battery and then reconnected it to reset the ecu but still the problem's there.
I suspect a couple of things, but what are your opinions?

Symptom no 1 computer running fine but computer screen black
no 2 after ten restarts or so there was display on, turned my back and there it went off again.
Jz gt mobo from warranty and gc fan is on and running
my comp specs
m2ne mobo
amd x2 3600
8500gt ddr3 256 mb
psu cm400w

Help needed...
