Suspected Scam on Mudah

Had suspect scammer respond to listing on Mudah requesting Bank A/c details, email address and location and offering to have item collected when payment into my addcount made.
No name but phone number +60 11-2691-5289. Contact received via WhatsApp and when I asked detailed questions and said only COD received suspiscious resplies. Messages ceased and WhatsApp i/d image was removed, online details also removed. Advise to check this number against any responses on this site.

Astro Beyone PVR

Just about to have my 2nd Astro Beyond PVR box replaced. Got this very annoying problem which only seems to occur when recording an overnight program.... golf or football. Either the recording does not start or if it does it cuts off mostly halfway through the program. Last night set to record Ryder Cup on channel 845 which started at 2030 and due to finish at 0700 following day....... however.... only 147 minutes recorded. This is happening all the time. Phoned Astro KL this morning and they try to fob me off by saying that since it is outside program there will have been a break in the program at 147 minutes.
Also been suggested that after about 2 hours the PVR box overheats and cuts out !! Can't accept this because my friend is recording the same program and his was complete. Astro is expensive enough without having a product that is not 100% and does not doe the job it is supposed to do.

Anyone have similar problem and got it resolved ?

Renew Validity 365

I urgently need to renew my Validity 365 which expires soon but when I key in *100# to renew I can see no menu for this action.
PLEASE can someone advise how I can complete my renewal.
Telephoned Maxis helpline but not very helpful, told me to dial *128*22# and can renew... I did and it told me I already had 90/365 so cannot renew.
Why so difficult/complicated to renew on Hotlink. I am thinking it might be best to look for another provider.

Apart from switching ON/OFF can only increase/decrease volume from Remote Control. Cannot access other menu's from remote.

Just this week signed up for MUTV program on TM HYPP TV. Programs shown much as I expected after experiencing via Sky TV in UK but here in Malaysia there are massive errors between what you expect to see according to the on screen program guide and what you actually see.
On Sunday 26/7 I tuned in first thing expecting to be able to see the Man United V Barcelona match as shown in the program guide available from 0730 onwards. As of 1200 just about every program has been shown except the one supposed to be shown. TM say the program is shown as it comes to them but something surely is wrong with the composition of the guide because the times are all local so not being transmitted from UK sources.
Anyone any idea of why this is ?

I need to replace my HP F4280 3in1 Print/Scan/Copyer. I have been looking at HP 4in1 which includes Fax and is on offer @ RM 319.
I am using TM Unifi Phone and would appreciate advice on whether the HP 4in1 will work OK with the Unifi Phone. Store assistants not sure and TM not responding to request for advice. Sure some learned forum member will have answer.

ASTRO BEYOND PVR BOX

I have problem with my Astro Beyond PVR Box....

Notice recently that when I click on to record a program from TV Guide, when recorded program plays back it is staring late and finishing early ( 2-3 minutes) .
I have tried adjusting by altering setting to + 3 minutes in program ending menu but makes no difference.
Anyone can please help much appreciated.

Just got Astro Beyond installed this week, all working OK except cannot get favorites button on Remote to work. Programs appear to add and remove from favourites according to menu but when favorites button pressed, light blinks but no list showing.

Mordaunt Short Alumni Speakers

My MS Alumni Speakers have been a bit of a disappointment. I have Centre + L+R installed with my Marrantz 1501 running thru 42" TV/ASTRO/Pioneer Recorder. On another it has been suggested that the problem possibly is due to low output of the Marrantz 1501 coupled to the relatively low 86db of the Alumni's. I really want to improve things so presumably I have a couple of options - change the speakers or hange the receiver !! I do not want to output a lot more expense so might consider looking for used items of either. Any suggestions would be most welcome please.

I have a Marrantz 1501 running with Mordaunt Short Centre and Side Speakers. I have been disappointed with the sound, particularly through the TV and think its only just OK with DVD music and films. I have tried to see if I can adjust the settings to reduce the base and increase treble to give me a 'sharper' sound but cannot find anything in the menu that will allow me to do this. Is there anything further I can try of do I just go looking for an alternative receiver.

I have a Marrantz 1501 receiver running with Mordaunt Short Centre and Side Speakers and have it coupled to my Phillips 42" LCD.
Main use for the receiver is music DVD's and films - no games. The sound through the TV is very disappointing, not sharp and can appear muffled and in DVD mode is just about OK.
Previously I had a budget Yamaha receiver and got much better sound with more options than the Marrantz. I am thinking of looking for an alternative to the Marrantz - please let me know what I should look at - still at budget end of market.

What Options ?

Last August bought Samsung S8500 (Wave) Nice phone but just cannot get on with the touch screen for SMS - fingers too clumsy !!
Going to look for alternative maybe still with some touch screen features but with manual qwerty keyboard. Probably trade in the Samsung but anyone suggest what I might look for as alternative please, hoping to be able to top up exchange sale with RM3-400 approx, maybe consider good used model - any recommendations please.

PLEASE DISREGARD..... SOLUTION FOUND.
Please can someone help me... got a new Nokia N71 and unable to find a couple of things.
+ How to change types of text - i.e. from Abc to ABC or predictive - cannot find a key to activate. Setting for text is Abc and can find single upper case by using upper case key but cannot find way of keeping in upper cast.
