Hi folks,

Got a quick question here.

Usually for Under Construction Condo, we do not need to purchase fire insurance from the bank panel insurer.

However, for the case of under-con landed property, is the fire insurance compulsory to take up a loan? I thought before VP it should be developer's responsibility on the insurance?

Typically, what are the value insured for fire insurance? any standard guideline or it is determined by the bank/valuer?
For example, a house that cost 530k, how much should be insured for fire?

Appreciate bros who know the answer to contribute some insights here...

I am looking for contractor to do up paintings for some of my properties. (CNY, new paint :-)

Just some questions:

- Market price for a 1200 sqft Condo
- Market price for a 22x70 terrace single (1800 built up) and double storey (2400 built up)
- Does the price include painting the plaster ceiling?
- Does the price include patching the minor crack on the wall?

Price Trend in Balakong

I have been observing the prices of Balakong Houses recently.

Mainly Balakong is undervalued because of the surrounding Factories.

But now since MRT is going to pass through Balakong, so that is what catches my attention.
Houses are cheap compare to its vicinity.

Anybody from Balakong here, or rented a house in Balakong before can comment anything about this place.
I drove there a few times mainly to fetch my friends.

How's the security and neighbourhood in this area?
