[WTA] Update firmware through CD

i followed every steps at xbox website, but why i still could not update my xbox? i got the latest version from website, then i copy file into CD ... put into console and off it. but when i turned on, nth happened.. and advice??

guys, i need some help here.. recently i bought 24inch LCD. i'm using GTX260, but when i play games in new lcd, it seems kinda lag. izit becos of my graphic couldn't support full hd graphic?
