18 years wasted... time for a change

Hi peeps, well my story was a very sad & bad one... in a nutshell, ate like mad and slept and sat on my ass doing nothing. by the time i finished form 5, i was 120kg...

then i went abroad to do my degree.. maybe climate, influence or society or the fact that i hated the food over there, i managed to get all the way down to 85kg

however, i still have about 19kg of fat and a massively out of shape body... so ive been in the gym lately and heres what i do

Day 1

Cardio - 20 minutes (either jog, or cross trainer or cycle)

6 Sets of:

10 squats (while holding 5kg ball)
10 pushups
20 lunges (10 each leg)
10 sit ups
20 sec plank

Day 2

Cardio - 45 minutes (jog, cross trainer, cycle)

Day 3

Cardio 20 minutes

Weight training (light to medium weights)

lat pulldown (20) x 3
assisted chin (20) x 3
chest flys (20) x 3

shoulder press (20) x 3
tricep press (20) x 3
bicep curls (20) x 3

Sit ups x 100

Day 4 Rest

Repeat process

my weight training is mainly for strength and conditioning and the rest is weight loss exercise. i need to reduce body weight to 78kg and then maybe put on muscle... the thing is, im getting engaged in december, which means i have about 5-6 months to do it...

would welcome any suggestions! thanks guys

Hi peeps,

Met the owner of the abovementioned company a while ago. Said he was a PICJ (Permanent International Court of Justice) judge but he handles this trust whereby you can apply to get a loan. It is an interest free loan with a long payback period. The only catch is you need to pay a "fee" which is apparently nonrefundable. After spending some time i returned home and decided to do some research on this guy and his company. This is what i found:

1) the Permanent International Court of Justice was abolished in 1945 and replaced by the ICC

2)no record whatsoever on him, other than complaints made by other entrepreneurs who applied and paid the commission. (Complaint Site Link)

3) got a picture of him (he's the one in the brown uniform)

4) some basic company information:

Pubely Bedford Capital Ltd
Dato Mohamad Zahari Al Pubely,
Asset Chancellor,
Level 9(F), Main Office Tower,
Financial Park Complex, Jalan Merdeka,Labuan

Am not pointing fingers just yet, but if any of the sifus here that may have heard or come into contact with this person or company, please share your thoughts.

Thanks

need help on Financing & BG issues

ill try n make it short and direct.

i have a project that needs financing.. after countless amount of time searching, i have finally found one. the financer is based overseas and have approved a term loan to finance my project.

he cant transfer it to me directly for security reasons (worried i run with the money).

so we came up with a solution to tranfer the cash to a local back, in which i will obtain a bank guarantee by ways of collateral and fixed deposit. this method however will take a long time and may cause delays to my project.

my question is, is there another way that i can do this? ( i get the money, and the financer gets a security on the sum paid out).

also, if there are any bankers out there who would like to assist me with my loan, i would gladly get a BG with your bank. just PM me

Thanks in advance ppl..

Known for his ability to hit ans slip from punches with great ease, Mayweather is a gifted boxer who in his long professional career, has never been hurt. Question can be raised however on the opponents he faced, whereby most of them were either past their prime or just looking for a payday. He has been known to ignore challenges from fighters that might blemish his record, choosing instead those whose style of fighting put them at a disadvantage against Floyd. Nevertheless, he does possess great speed, god-like defense and with long time trainer and uncle Roger Mayweather by his side, there is no doubting that Mayweather will be ready come May 1st.

Floyd Mayweather Highlights

Shane Mosley (46-5-1, 39 Ko's)

A professional boxing career spanning 17 year and 52 fights, Shane Mosley has seen it all, and done it all. Shane has been in the ring with the best of the best in the sport and is still going strong when everyone else has called it a day. His physical condition, and his previous fight against Margarito clearly shows he has the desire for it. The dilemma facing him is which Mosley will show up on fight night. Before the Margarito fight, we saw a washed up Mosley, one that should retire from boxing. At 38, he might have lost some of that speed that made him great, and having not fought in over a year, stamina will be put into question. But with new trainer Naazim Richardson beside him, a rejuvenated Mosley was brought back against Margarito whom he destroyed to win the title. Still quick with both hands and feet, and possessing brutal knockout power, look for Mosley to send out a statement on the 1st of May

Shane Mosley Highlights

Who R U Pickin?

Firepower: Manny Pacquiao Vs Miguel Cotto

Pacquiao vs Cotto is promoted by Top Rank, in association with MP Promotions,Cotto Promotions,MGM Grand and Tecate, will take place, Saturday,November 14 at the sold out MGM Grand in Las Vegas

Tale Of The Tape

Last fights

Pacquiao Vs Hatton (Pacquiao wins, TKO 2nd round)

Cotto Vs Clottey (cotto wins, Decision)

Pacquiao vs. Cotto Fight Preview

Manny Pacquiao’s opponent for his November fight was unknown for quite some time. Finally it appeared that Shane Mosley would be the man to step into the ring with him. However, Team Pacquiao and Team Cotto were able to finalize the deal, made all the easier since both men are promoted by Bob Arum and Top Rank Promotions.

Pacquiao will have the clear speed advantage in this bout. He showed the world what his speed could do even at the higher weight classes against the likes of Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton.

Miguel Cotto on the other hand will come into the ring as the naturally larger man, having fought at junior welterweight and welterweight for his entire career. He also has superior boxing skills, while Pacquiao is the more dynamic offensive fighter. Team Pacquiao is also hoping that forcing Cotto to cut weight down to 145 pounds will leave him weaker, and Pacquiao more able to capitalize on that vulnerability.

Which man will have the edge come fight night? Some people wonder how much Miguel Cotto has left in the tank after his beat down from Margarito, however, he has rebounded and gutted out a tough win against Joshua Clottey. And isn’t there ever going to be a limit on Pacquiao, on the size and caliber of the fighters he can continue taking out so impressively?

We’ll have to wait for fight night to see the winner of this exciting match between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto. The winner will have the world at his fingertips, and may end up facing Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez or Floyd Mayweather.

My Prediction

Pacquiao will finally meet an opponent who is at his prime best. Cotto is stronger, bigger, younger and is fighting at his natural weight. Pacman is a southpaw, faster, more accurate, more deadly when delivering punches. Here is my prediction how the fight will go down

Pacquiao will start the fight much like he did against Hatton, fierce, power oriented, trying to catch Cotto off guard. Cotto will be relying on his signature body punches which will take their toll in the latter rounds. Cotto suffered a recurring cut on his last match vs Clottey, and i have a feeling that cut might play a part in the fight. In the latter rounds, Pacquiao will no doubt have slowed down due to the rib smashing punches cotto has give throughout.

I see Pacman winning this match by unanimous decision as he will most definitely win the majority of the early rounds

who do you think will win this super bout??? its time to give ur predictions

unique and exciting form of investment

Hi ppl,

i thought i'd share with you something that i have been doing for about a year now. its highly exciting, unique, fun and can potentially give high returns.

What Is It?

Race Horse Ownership. That's right, buying a racehorse and entering it into competitions.

How does it work?

You either do it on your own ( need lots of spare cash for this) or you can do a group ownership (which is what I'm doing). a group of 20 of us, invested USD 10'000 each to raise USD 200'000. then a long list of procedures follows which leads up to purchasing a race horse

How much does it cost?

a decent 3yo generally cost from 15'000 upwards. it all depends on the breed, bloodline, race portfolio, etc. monthly maintenance cost will run from anywhere between USD 3'000 - USD 5'000, and these consist of training, vet, stables, shoeing, food, license, trainer, insurance and jockey. around USD 40'000 - USD 50'000 per year

Any risk involved?

yes. horses are living things and they are vulnerable to accidents, diseases, etc. It is a risky investment

What are the returns like?

-horses race and earn winnings. usually top 3 finishers get cash prizes, but there are races that pay-out to the top 5 finishers. a horse can race around 7-11 races a year. here are some of the winners and how much they cost and earned

Horse Price Earnings

Takeover Target $1,250 $206,400
Old Fashion $7,000 $705,650
Royal Purler $8,000 $322,510
Sportsman $8,000 $688,250
Bel Esprit $9,000 $2,073,600
Regimental Gal $16,500 $1,537,350
Private Steer $18,000 $3,407,290
Rinky Dink $25,000 $609,200
Hardrada $30,000 $818,080
Polar Success $32,000 $2,171,505
Mummify $41,000 $3,075,600
Excellerator $50,000 $2,228,495
Choisir $55,000 $2,230,033
Helenus $80,000 $2,114,680

horses are also subject to sponsorship deals. you also get VIP invites to races as owners

What happens to the horse when it retires?

- If its a winning stallion, it can be sold for a premium price (300K-1M) for breeding purposes.

Do you recommend it?

- Yes but only if you have some spare cash (dont blow ur life savings!!).

Do you regret investing your money this way?

- Ask me that a million times and i'll answer no.. love it to bits

If you want to know more, or if ur interested to become a racehorse owner, feel free to ask me
