I recently purchased a 15&quot; MBP and am currently seeking out an external hard drive. i&#39;ve realized that in terms of transfer rate on a MBP, firewire800 interface is the fastest available since the MBP has a firewire port. But there&#39;re faster interfaces out there in the market today which are eSATA and USB3.0.<br /><br />Firstly, eSATA.<br />-I am well aware that a MBP does not have a SATA port. But i am wondering if it is possible to introduce one via an adapter thru the SD card slot.<br />-Would something like <a href='http://www.sonnettech.com/product/tempo_sata_express34.html' target='_blank'>this</a> work?<br /><br />Secondly, USB 3.0.<br />-Rite now USB2.0 is available on the MBP.
