They were jailed 2018 or 2015? If they were jailed in Feb 2018, this year they should be freed.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Magistrate’s Court here today sentenced two people to three years’ jail and a RM10,000 fine each for reckless or dangerous driving, which caused the death of a family of three at the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE) on May 2015.

Magistrate Zilfinaz Abbas delievered the verdict after ruling that Siti Noor Aini Mohd Said, a 39-year-old restaurant supervisor, and Mohamad Fizal Reza Jamauddin, 35, had failed to raise reasonable doubt in their defence.

Both the accused also face an additional two years jail if they fail to pay the fine. They have also been stripped of their driving licence for five years.

Zilfinaz however, allowed an application by Omar Bakhi Ahmad and SN Seelan, who represented the accused, for a stay of execution, pending an appeal at the High Court.

The bail for both the accused were subsequently raised from RM9,000 to RM14,000, with an additional condition, requiring them to report to a police station once a month until the case is concluded.

Earlier, Zilfinaz, in her ruling, said she found that the defendants’ testimony amounted to mere denial and that they were inconsistent.

The two, who were driving Perodua Myvi cars at the time of the incident, were charged with reckless or dangerous driving which led to the deaths of Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35; his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25; and their six-month-old child, Nur Firuza Annisa.

They were accused of committing the offence at KM6, DUKE, headed towards Ulu Klang from Jalan Duta, between

12.31am and 1.05 am on May 2, 2015.

They were charged under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 which allows for a maximum jail term of 10 years and maximum fine of RM20,000 upon conviction.

Nurakmal Farhan Aziz and Muhammad Farith Muhammad Faizal appeared for the prosecution.

In the May 2, 2015 incident, the family were reportedly on their way home after attending a wedding in Putrajaya when they were involved in a three-vehicle collision. The impact of the crash saw all three family members flung out of their vehicle.

Setup VPN on Access Point Router

I want to separate normal connection and VPN connection in 2 routers but in same Unifi, is it possible?

1) Have 2 routers (Asus RT-N18U - Official Firmware and Asus RT-N16 - DDWRT)
2) Asus RT-N18U is connected to Unifi currently
3) Planning to add Asus RT-N16 and change to access point (Additional wifi and set up VPN)
4) (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ will be connecting to wifi Access point) while (Laptop normal surfing will be connecting to Asus RT-N18U)

VPN connection sometimes slow lag and not quite up to speed (Using NordVPN)
VPN only purposes to watch USA/Canada contain streaming

Is it possible to set VPN on my access point router or is there any way to connect? PPTP? L2TP?

1) Cheap food after buka puasa 7.20pm, normally the food will be lelong
2) Road traffic clear as crystal 7pm++
3) Cinema less people 7pm++
4) Hypermarket (Aeon, Tesco) less people 7pm++
5) People tends to give way (Meaning drive out heavy traffic junction) compare normal day mati2 don't let me out from junction and drive as close as possible

Cons
1) Traffic jam before buka puasa is like crazy especially 5pm

#Hotlink

A RM3.00 x 2 deducted from my account from unauthorized number of 32688. I made a complaint and the officer told me would refund within 14 working days. Now it way past due date and yet to receive refund from Hotlink.

I have called many times but still no action from Hotlink.

I know RM6.00 is just a small amount but I still want my refund as a consumer and I know i'm just a hotlink user if you want to compare with Maxis Users.

5 Arrested for Drug Trafficking

KOTA KINABALU: A video of a dramatic arrest of five suspected drug traffickers as they landed in Sandakan airport has gone viral.

The video shows Customs officers and airport policemen nabbing one of the suspects who was trying to flee from the arrival hall in the 9.30am incident Tuesday (Feb 27).

The video spread quickly among local WhatsApp users following the incident.

When contacted, Sabah Customs director Hamza Sundang said that they were aware of the pictures and videos taken by the public but declined to give details pending further investigations.

Hamza said a press conference would be held later this week over the case.

Witnesses at the Sandakan airport said that the five men had arrived on a flight from Kuala Lumpur.

Customs officers immediately arrested them as they claimed their suitcases from the carousel.

One of the suspects tried to flee from the arrival hall, and that airport policemen joined Customs personnel to arrest the suspect.

It was learnt that five large suitcases were seized and a substantial amount of syabu were recovered from inside the bags.

The five suspects - four from Perak and one from Kuala Lumpur - are being questioned by Customs officials who are expected to obtain an order to remand them under the Dangerous Drugs Act.
