D-Link Client Mode connect to a router

Hello sifus!

I've been looking at D-Link DAP-1665 and DAP-1360 wifi repeater/AP.

The thing is,
1. Don't want to use AP mode because to prevent pulling long cable across the house.
2. Don't want to use repeater mode because it will decrease the speed significantly. (right?)

Then, I see there's a client mode, which functions like a wifi adapter for devices with network port.
From what I read, the drawback of client mode, is that devices from main router cannot see device behind the AP.
(Correct me if im wrong )

I don't mind this drawback, cause i just want stable and fast wifi internet connection.

So my question is, can I attach a router to the AP when its in client mode?
I already have an extra router, unused.

Tried googling, but can't find people using this setup.
Need clarification before buying one
