Below from budget 2013-

Real Property Gain Tax (RPGT)
RPGT will be increased to 15% for disposal of property within 2 years, 10% for disposal within 2 to 5 years, effective from 1 Jan 2013. After 5 years, it is not subject to RPGT. Currently, 10% RPGT for disposal within 2 years, 5% within 5 years, 0% after 5 years.

My question is

“Dispose within 2 years”

Does this count from my S&P signed date or the day I receive my keys?

I bought a unit which is under construction and will be ready 2015..

So when I want to sell, does it count 2 years from 2015 or already over 2 years??

Dear All,

I am having job dilemma here. I would like to have opinions from people to finalize what I should be doing/choosing.

I am currently full-time:

2 years ago, I got employed into a big MNC as an executive to handle a new product they are developing. I was being told that I only handle the Marketing aspect(advertisement,branding,event) of this new product. Somehow after 3 months of being here, NO sales person are willing to sell this product as their sales GM are also negative about this product(*note that the management team sayang this sales GM as he is the person who handle a very big account in this company). All sales person are comfortable selling OLD products(big brand,cant reveal) and no one wants to sell my new product!

So, I willingly transfer myself to doing sales and at the same time marketing, with no additional $$ at all,not even commision. Only petrol claims where I travel. Then when I do sales, no senior to guide me and I was there all alone!

There was once, when I sold this product to other company/customers, we are being charged numerous first-time business charges whereby my company management agree and signed. The charges is kinda high and when the bill came, we had a lost in the company (we are paying them) and the management was putting all the blame on me. I was in blank-mode and apologizing, but somehow thinking back, it was my management who wants to do business and signed , and I was only proposing as a middle-person!

Somehow fast forward 2 years later, my new product finally show some HOPE for me, a few KEY company has been taking my products and those KEY company is opened, handled and grew by me. I LOVE MY JOB, and I really hate my management!

Why I hate my management: My Sales GM dislikes me I guess, last month I went to holiday and applied leave(first time application) and when Im back he go crazy mode and scolded me in high tune saying: WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS MIA?? ALWAYS TAKING LEAVE?? Then i answered and said..bos this is my first time taking leave..I never took leave before..and show sad face..and he scold again said: U ARE ALWAYS MIA!!! and he walk away.
This sales GM is very cunning also, always twist words and manipulate alot of people's mind to agree with him..especially his "ma chai" = anak kaki..

SO

I told alot of my friends about my issue, they told me go apply new job..and I did...

So i got selected into a bigger MNC for interview and given a managerial position...but the pay was like 20% from my current pay....
The issue here is, I am given a role to develop new product again!and this is harder with more task to go...but there is a team for me to handle..

I was in big dilemma as I dont not know what to choose...I love my current job, hate my management(as I wont have any growing prospect here) and I dont know how to move corretly

I am so stuck now!

I'm fully employed with a prominent MNC but china man+local chinese thinking company...this is an FMCG company

The problem here is... I am doing a managerial job(which I strongly thinks I am) ALL ALONE...but getting paid and positioned as executive(not even senior)..me myself have 3 years experiene in handling this industry...

I was thrown a brand that has quite a challenge to take care off..from sales,marketing,supply chain, operations,supplier even up to administration works..

FYI, this MNC has been a very well known FMCG product in the market, so they are now exploring different segment and hence I was in the picture for different segment category...

My job role practically is to create as much sales as I can for this brand...with no target set from my this MNC FMCG companY!! and I need to do it all my own! I've raised this issue but falls on deaf ears... they expected me to do any sales I can from this products...and i set a minimum of RM2million a year...

Basically, I get to learn alot of field works from meeting Key Accounts Buyers (Giant,Tesco,Carrefour,Guardian,Watson,Caring and so on) and succesfully opened up a few key accounts for my products...

but I felt so INBALANCE as I am not paid incentives/commision for any work I've done(sales), and I've mentioned to the management and they told me :

wait until eveyrhting is settled down..and we will pay you based on average monthly sales...which I find it so unfair...I am doing everything from sales, marketing, operations, supply chain..but getting paid only basic+allowance!

what can I do???

I have the knowledge now...but I can find some bright future because I have already built my brand so far...until they are in the stores... ..

what should I do??
