Hi fellas..

as stated in the topic..

i need a recommendation about the best and powerful casing fan..

Im planning to use it as a suction for my robot. The robot will be used to collect 10units of pingpong ball by means of power suction from these fan.

the power supply will be a battery only..

the max size is 150mm, hence im choosing a casing fan..

ok, plz recommend me the brand and their advantage plzz...
and most important thing is it's available locally - BTW, im at Kuching sarawak, rite now...

hi fellas...

as stated above..im having a problem when connecting my steering wheel - SAITEK R 660 GT to play Need For SPeed Hot Pursuit.

The game are able to load, play some intro movie, then when it comes to next part. (The Game ask CLICK ANY KEY TO CONTINUE), then, it crash..

previously, i can play the games without any problem, but it started to crash once i attch the steering wheel.

any idea how to rectify this crash problem.

hi... i got a situation here...

i heard a small blast sound from my CPU/PSU upon shutdown..

the chronology is..

- bought used CM PSU 650W from a forumer here about a month ago..
- tested, it works. then,packed the CPU into box as im migrating to Kuching, Sarawak a few days later.
- 15 Mac, my stuff being packed into a container, awaiting for shipment.
- yesterday, 4th April, my boxes arrived. and a open theboxad start checking my electrical equipment whether it works or not.
- My PC can ON, and load WIndows, but, once i shut it down, there sort of explosion happened..

so, any comments? i need to find out whether the explosion are related to the shipment process. ( couple weeks left inside a container under day hot day light at Klang? or maybe mishandling?)

Hi..

im using i5 on my newly arrived Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 mobo..

Im spending my evening today trying to affix my CM V8 onto it using supplied bracket.

- LGA 775 bracket = the problem is with back plate

Then, i tried using DeepCool Ice Blade Pro.
still no luck..

- LGA 775 bracket = the problem is with back plate. Same as above. The back plate cant het close to mobo as being block with some mobo part.

- LGA 1366 bracket = the holder collided with mb chipset heatsink.

My question....

do anybody hv suggestion how to use either my V8 or Deep Cool onto my Z68?

for the moment im running my GTX 580 on E8500, Corsair 850W..

im curious to know is there any major differ if im upgrading into high end proc...

Mind to enlight me plzzz...

by budget below within RM900 for both mobo and proc. (Spending Less is better so that i can spend on other items later)

i dont do OC, seldom wideo editing,mostly gaming...
SLI wasnt needed, and USB 3.0 wasnt my priority..

so, need ur recommendations on which to choose...

whether its worth to buy 1155 or stick to the 1156. PLzzzzz dont suggest 2011.

so,in a nutshell, my question is...

1. is there any major differ in gaming perfomance if im upgrading into high end proc.

2. based on my daily usage above, which platform (1156/1155) should i opt to?

3. Given my budget above, which proc/mobo type will be appropriate for me?

hi.... my gigabyte ep43t usb3 seems faulty... it cant be turn ON,not even reach POST screen... it keeps turning ON and OFF the fan only....

so,how to send ot for RMA?

im fed up and give up trying to reach SCAN ART.. this so-called company are said to be the agents for RMA.. my call left unanswered for few days...

can somebody help me plzz...

hi.. im using a desktop with these particular item..

e8500
gigabyte ep43t-usb3
8GB ddr3
gigabyte gtx 460 1gb
Silverstone strider plus 600W

it happened lately.. i've been using the mobo about 5months without any problems.. then, im upgrading my PSU .. bought a PSU from a forumer here..

it's happened for thefirst time as my little brother accidently push the power button. Hence,it cant be turn ON..

so,i disconnect the cable from PSU and theitem (MOBO/GPU/HDD), and after reconnect them,its works.

it happened a few times more... im playing BF3,then it hang, need to force shutdown.. and i've got to repeat same cycles.

plz advise me what is the possible cause. izit PSU .. or Mobo?

im looking for a reliable and yet not too pricey casing for my future rig..

can u suggest me some brand/model ~ but my budget restricted to RM200 only..

in my thought, the casing should be...

- it doesnt matter a brand new/used ~ as long as it serve the purpose.
- bottom PSU located
- mid tower should be fine with me, it suffice as im nt going for WC for the moment
- good ventilation.

HI fellas..

as per topic..

Right now im using E8500 on P45 mobo. (DDR2)
im in dilema as im tempted to upgrade my proc to Q9550... basically, i'll be using current mobo.

But, if im upgrading to i7920, i'll ended-up spending much more to replace mobo and ram.

Mind to suggest/comments plzz..

Should i or shouldnt i...

some say 775 mobo are dying breed.. but, some say, Q9550 perfomance are at par with i7920, thus , it may lasting for a few years afterwards.. By then, next upgrade surely will be high leap compare to now..
So, they suggest to use it for the moment while funding for big leap in future..

What say u ?

the situation is...

Previously im running win xp on my desktop.. i hv bought anther ram, and to ensure its 6GB working, so, i decided t install win 7.

Before installing Win 7, i change my gpu to ati 5770. Before that im using 9600gt. the whole system hv been serving my past years without any problem..

so, what happens is, the installation progress runs fine, but, it finally ended up with these screen...

then, im tried with win xp.. its works and i can boot and load into windows...

so, i thinks nothing wrong with my hardware..

so, fellas here, can u suggest me how to rectify these issue plzz..

urgently need to solve it.. :

as per topic.. it happen just a few hours ago...

i received my MSI G31 mobo from RMA, than i tried to assemble the component.. Here's the spec..

MSI G31, Intel Pentium 3.2GHZ, 4GB Kingston Hyper X, (currently didnt attach the GPU).
The PSU was 480W, which is come together with E-View casing.

It do boot, but after a few second, it turn OFF.

i dont think it's due to lack of power, since i just i just connect basic component (hdd, dvdrw,mobo - without gpu)

every time i turn it ON, it will boot to windows, and after a few seconds, it turn OFF itself...

plzz help me...

Q1- which one is better, ASUS P5QSE (P45 Chipset, but DDR2) and GIGABYTE Ga EP43T-USB4 (this one P43 with DDR3)
i got both, but currently my ASUS not available - sent to repair.

# im nt going to replace mobo/proc within a few years...

if the answer at Q1 was GIGABYTE, proceed to Q2, otherwise proceed to Q3.

Q2 - plz recommend me good but affordable and yet suffice for my budget ~ more/less RM800 for GPU and PSU.to use with Gigabyte Mobo

currently im using intel P4 775 3ghz, on msi g31 mobo, 3gb ddr800, and xfx 9600gt.
its fine for light gaming and daily application...

maybe its time to change now.. hahaha..

1. im planning to upgrade mobo & proc...
max option are E8400 or Q9550(as example), while several choice on mobo.
Either opt for P45-base DDR2 or go for DDR3-base mobo...
but, do above spec lasting years?

or, 2. should i spend some money , and go for i5 (sandy bridge ) (of course need to spend for 1155 mobo.. )

my constraint..

if option 1 can lasting few years in future... which one should u recommmend...

or, if i have got to opt to option 2, whats the minimum budget without sacrificing the perfomance..

# im ready to spend ~RM600 for something which i expect to last for next ~5years.. izit possible? hahaha
