There are still 3 pieces of Dunlop PU Convoluted Acoustic Foam sheet (Charcoal in colour) left measuring 43" inches X 75” inches (1.1M X 1.9M). Philips CD-850 MkII

I have a good work horse “Philips CD-850 MkII” CD player, recently the drawer wasn't opening, I opened up and found that the wheel that operates the open/shut mechanism had deteriorated and break. ... however, with the top open, I can still slip in a CD into the tray and it reads and plays! But it is messy and dangerous…

Anyone have any experience repairing this player? Feedback appreciated.

This player sounds magically musical and the last good Philips machine with TDA1541 DAC, the last of philips 16bit dav chips, entirely different sounding compared to current CDP's

Hei Guys,

Why nobody mention anything about this Brand “ SONY” famous for their Bravia LCD? Thought of getting the new Sony KLV-52Z550A series after Panasonic is not bring in their Neo Plasma 50V into Malaysia.

How is SONY PQ and product reliability?? I have comb through this forum but rarely find any discussion on this product brand?

Any of you Sifu.. bought SONY S, V, W, WE, Z and X series? Please give your thought, experience and comment.. on the quality, features, service…etc. This will help me to make the decision.
