Dyson Spare Parts

I'm looking for a replacement motorhead for my Dyson V6 vacuum, but Dyson Malaysia is not allowed to operate during MCO period so they cannot ship out the replacement until MCO ends, which could take a few more months. I've tried searching on Lazada/Shopee as well, but no luck. Anybody tried buying items from Vacuum Genie before? It says 5-10 days for shipment from UK.

2 years back, I rented my condo to an expat family using a real estate agent who lives in the same place as my rental condo. Because the expat family didn't have any means of online banking at that time, the agent suggested that he can collect the cash from my tenant monthly and then bank in the money to me. I agreed to this arrangement as I'm living far away from my condo and it would be easier that way.

Back in April last year, after the start of the moratorium, the agent messaged me saying that the tenant had asked for 50% discount for 3 months as the tenant is badly affected by COVID and the MCO. I agreed to this out of compassion for the tenants and also I had moratorium. After 3 months, they were back to paying full rental amount. So all is well.

I never directly communicated with the tenant until they moved out in November last year. During a dispute regarding the return of the deposit, I found out that the tenant never asked for discount from the agent. The tenant even showed me deposit slips of them banking in full rental amount to my agent's account. They only handed him cash in the first few months but after that started using CDM to transfer the money.

After finding this bit of information out, I have been trying to contact my agent but he's not answering calls nor replying to my messages. But he is very much alive on Facebook and Twitter.

What action can I take to get my money back?

Cold & Sore Throat (URTI) Every Month

Hi guys,

I get sore throat and cold (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection - URTI) almost every month, which means I have to go to the clinic every month and take antibiotics for my swollen tonsils to heal.

I have tried taken 1000mg Vitamin C daily, but it doesn't help with my immunity.

Can anyone recommend me some supplements to help me with this or boost my immunity?

Cannot Load Contacts from SIM [SOLVED]

Hi,

I recently restarted my iPhone 4S because my apps kept crashing. When I restarted it, I unlocked the SIM and PIN was entered successfully, but the contacts from my SIM card didn't show up in Contacts.

Any ideas for how to get it back? BTW, I'm currently offshore and there's no network reception, so don't know if my SIM is damaged or not.

Reliable Laptop OR Reliable After Sales Service?

I've set my mind for quite some time to get an ASUS laptop, but after hearing so many people complain about their after sales service on here and on Facebook, I decided to pursue other brands. So just wondering what you guys look for when buying a laptop. Do you guys go for a brand that makes reliable laptops (ASUS, Lenovo, etc.) or do you go for a brand which has a reliable after sales service (Dell, Dell, Dell!)?

I mean, let's face it, no one wants an unreliable laptop. But what happens when your supposedly reliable laptop breaks down and you have to send it in for repair. Would you be willing to wait a FEW MONTHS to get it fixed (like so many of ASUS's customers)?
