I am relaunching Manyholes.com in few weeks time (can't wait). I am excited because I neglected this site for almost a year.

Tim recently used a new services from credit card call Concierge service. This is basically how it works - you give the operator a call, say you wish, and they will try their best to solve problem for you - for free. For example, I have a crossword puzzle I can't solve, I call the Concierge service and they will try their best to solve your problem.

The sites I am looking for are targeted at students, mostly tertiary ones. I have similar blog (not promoting here la, just to point out) Brisbane Student Guide which I created while i was studying at Brisbane. Now I have interest to expand the site, and would like to look for other similar sites which provides similar contents. If anyone know these sites exists, please share.

Headache after sports

Past few weeks I have this weird condition, after gym session or cardio workout, I have headache for few hours. The condition of the headache is like fever those kind of pain, not migraine. Anyone knows why is this happening?

And also I noticed that I sweat a lot lately, maybe this relates to headache too?

Well, I take a wild guess here - I sweat too much during the day and I lost body salt, and after sports I lose even more which causes headache. So solution is to have isotonic drink? Just a wild guess, I do not have any medical background.

My website BrisbaneStudentGuide.com is generating daily unique 100 visitors per day, I haven't officially launch the website yet but already get good responses from readers. I want to build my readers in a community. If I want to implement a forum (before official launch), what forum should I start with? I assume the forum has potential to have wide base users in future years to come. Should I start small forum first? or straight away get a powerful forum?

What do you suggest? Any one has experience before?

Any of the forumers are making money online full time? I am curious. How do you convince people around you that you are making a living through internet, especially the elder people? I tried to convince my parents, but they insist me to work full time job 8-5pm. I request them to give me 3 months time to try things out (I'm a fresh graduate), and my time is almost over.

... and I am only making $70 per month.

I hope to get inputs from people who are actually making full time online now, not side business or "what i think ...". I want real case studies.

I have 3 active websites, which you can see in my signature. I have questions for one of my entertainment website - Manyholes.com.

Basic stats: My traffic is around 200-1000 unique per day. 40k page views per month. Contents are not SEO'ed and all articles are submitted to Digg, Stumbleupon and Facebook.

Question 1): 80% of my visitors come from US. How can I increase my traffic for local readers? include Malaysia Singapore and neighboring countries.
Question 2): My site is categorised in what niche? And what type of advertisers can I approach?
Question 3): Should I encourage more link exchange? I exchange link with similar sites like laikepoh.blogspot.com and limpek.com

Yo! This is my brand new site. Just launched a week ago. This site showcases the forwarded mails I've received from my friends and family. Some contents are excellent and interesting. Mostly photos and engaging pictures.

Why Manyholes.com?
I don't know. Couldnt find a better name.

What is this site about?
Gallery of excellent forwarded mail I've received all these years. All post entries are handpicked and filtered. Main purpose is to share good contents and interesting stories among friends and society.

Any pornographic?
No. This site is "family friendly" site, this is to encourage people of all ages to visit. And this site is Safe For Work!

Why go through all the troubles?
This is my personal project, and I want to test how much traffic I can gain. Plus, there's a little counter on top right, that's the amount of money I get from ads (inside the post). These money will go to charity after I paid my webhost and domain name. I am doing good deeds for everyone!

Any updates?
Yes! We update that site 3 times a day. Subscribe to our RSS feed to get daily updates.

Determine Faulty Hardware

I have a 2 years old rig here, it died recently. I bought a new system, and now I wanted to revive the old one to run as COD4 gaming server. But here's the problem.

My older system was not able to boot up normally, and according to lyn forumers - either my motherboard or RAM was burnt. (I am sure it was burnt because I saw a flash, believed cause by electrostatic.)

Question is, how do I determine which hardware was at fault? I cannot test the older system with my newer ones because motherboard+RAM do not match. I do not wish to try my luck to get SDRAM then test it, if unlucky then "aiyaaa die la this time, I think motherboard got problem, not the RAM"

Old rig : MSI motherboard with SDram PC133
New rig : ASUS motherboard with DDR2 800mhz

Anyone has any idea how to determine which is the faulty hardware here?

Microsoft Word 2003

Anyone knows how to load Microsoft Word within 2-3 secs? Maybe need to tweak some configuration or something. I wonder if anyone has any clue to this matter.

My uni comp is able to load Microsoft Word and Powerpoint within 2 secs... and mine is almost 7secs (I know 7 secs is not long, but looking at ur monitor and wait for a program to load for 7 secs.. it's very annoying. I know you guys feel the same way)

Extra info, my system runs on AMD Athlon64 3200+, 1GB ram.. my uni comp has much lower specs. So I believe I can startup Microsoft programs faster than uni comp.

Any links or clue where I can search for my question is much appreciated. Thanks!
