Can't claim third party

Hi everybody,

I was a victim of a hit and run few weeks back but fortunately my dashcam caught it. Police report was made on the same day.

Today, the police concluded that it was the other person's fault, and that the person did not make a police report.

This is where I am confused and need your help:

I went to the official Honda repair center and the person told me that even though it is not my fault, I cannot claim third party because the other party never made a police report. (one of the required documents to submit is third party police report)

She said the KEPUTUSAN KES is not enough

Is this true or the officer there made a mistake?

If true, I feel it is unfair because I will have to claim my own insurance and lose the NCB.

Previous Company Haven't Bank In EPF

Hi all,

As per title, my previous company has not paid my EPF since May this year, even though in the payslip it is stated paid.

Even the May EPF they only paid in August.

One of the reasons I left this company is because of the EPF issue which I heard from other staffs, it is a recurring issue.

It is bad enough sometimes salary comes in after the 7th, but to take our EPF money is unethical.

Has anyone here experienced the same and what needs to be done to report?

EA Form possibly lost in mail

Hi all,

Yesterday I called my previous company to request for EA form. Was told that they already send by post two weeks ago but until now still haven't receive. Normal mail normally take about 4-5 working days. If really lost, then have to request from Singapore, which I think by time it reaches me, already passed the due date to submit. The person I spoke to say to call her if haven't receive by next week.

Can I inform LHDN that it was lost in mail? Any suggestions to what I can do?

This is my first time doing and already got problem.

Dell Integrated Webcam

Hi all,

Just received my new laptop yesterday, Dell Inspiron 15 3521. Noticed that the Windows 8 camera app is not detecting the built in webcam.

I manage to get it to work once yesterday, that was after reinstalling the camera app. But today its not working again, tried reinstalling but no luck.

I tried installing the Dell Webcam Central but when I open the install file, it says cannot detect dell webcam central on the laptop

Can I anyone help?

Installing ADAPTIVE cruise control

Just wondering, is there any car workshops here that can install adaptive cruise control system? If got, price?

I know the standard cruise control can find... but adaptive cruise?

Find it irritating that even on major highways, I'm forced to deactivate and activate my cruise control cause of roadhoggers... (I normally set to 120kmh)

My car is a 2000 Proton Wira 3 gear auto (about 160,000 km already). Planning to switch to 4 gears. Is that possible?

Just want to share with you my experience with one of the members here. Her band is Not That Pink

You guys probably saw her posting a lot on the bandmates/seek page.

I auditioned for them a few months ago. Then got through. Then hell started.

First, I was given the promise that they'll (or rather she) play a few songs that I request. And I only requested two, 21 Guns by Green Day and Hell Song by Sum-41. But till today, not even a mention. When I remind her, she says, "I can't sing those songs lar! Plus we are doing modern punk!". Isn't Green Day and Sum-41 modern punk?

Secondly, I told her that at 6pm on Saturdays, I have church so we should jam like 2 - 4 so that I don't have to rush. But no, she still insisted on 3 - 5 pm.

Third, she thinks that since she is the vocalist, she owns the band, the rest of us have no say.

And this is her final email to me:
