Hey guys,

A good friend is planning to head to Toronto next week and she's been away from Malaysia for a while so she's seriously some good ol' Malaysian dishes.

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to get Malaysian food there?

I'll just add that yes I can google it but to be honest I kind of only trust the judgement of fellow Malaysians when it comes to good Malaysian food (personal experience has caused this bias.)

Thanks for your help!

Need help setting up xbox + monitor

I just moved to the UK and got myself a new Xbox 360 slim. The thing is, the only thing I have so far is a laptop and the Xbox itself and I'm living in a small student hall. Now, I know I can't use my laptop monitor as a, well, monitor for the Xbox so I'm going to need to buy myself a PC monitor ASAP. Here's the thing, I have a pair of Shure SRH 440 and I'd like to use that while playing; is there a way to go about this? I was wondering if there's a monitor out there which lets me connect my Xbox to it via HDMI and also has an audio output jack for my headphones.

Or is there another way? Maybe connect the Xbox to the monitor via HDMI and get myself an RCA cable to split the sounds to my laptop and hook my headphones up to that instead. I'm really looking for the most convenient option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to some batman action.

Shure SRH440 VS Sennheiser HD448

Hey guys,
I think the title speaks for itself. I'm looking for a new set of headphones for my PC and i've narrowed it down to the Sennheiser HD448 and Shure SRH440. The reviews are generally positive for both headphones, with strong regards to it being great for its price range, but I need to decide on one! Just wondering if any audiophiles here know better on which one I should go for.

I'll be using it for gaming, and I listen to a lot of classical, blues-y and gospel music with the occasional pop and oldies.

I appreciate any feedback!
Making Meatloaf

Hey guys,

I've recently moved overseas from Malaysia and as such decided to learn to start to cook. I made meatloaf today following this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/marys-meatloaf/detail.aspx and it turned out tasty except that it came out with the top crust burnt due to the brown sugar.

I need any tips that you all can offer as I'm a beginner to cooking. I followed the recipe the dot but if I try this again I figure I should add the sauce later but how long into the 2 hour baking cycle should I add it? I'd appreciate any help or advice, thanks.

Earphones while running

Hi guys,

A friend of mine just got herself a new pair of Dr. Dre Beats Tour earphones and she goes for runs every other day or so. My question, on her behalf, is : Would wearing those earphones while running ruin it? Personally I've had a couple of my own earphones lose sound on one side within a few months but I'm not sure if it's from taking it for runs or just because I used to wrap it rather tight.

Any information on whether earphones can get damaged by sweat or excessive movement by the wires during a run would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,

I just got myself an ASUS U41SV and it's a splendid laptop except that it's filled with bloatware. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a software which will help me remove everything quickly or if there's any you recommend I don't remove because it's actually useful.

Asus U41SV

I've been looking for a lightweight PC with a moderate graphical processing availability and stumbled upon the Asus U41SV. I really like the specs but I can't seem to find a proper review of it up anywhere so I was wondering if I could get any user testimonials here. Does anyone own this laptop or know any additional information about it? Is it light? How's the battery life like? What's the gaming capabilities? how's the build quality? etc.

I'd really appreciate any help and I also welcome any comparable recommendations of similar laptops. Thank you for your time!

Alienware M14x or M11x

Hey guys, I'm trying to decide between getting the Alienware M14x or M11x. Right now the major thing that i'm splitting hairs about is the weight and power consumption.

So just wondering, does anyone have the M14x? I'm a student and i'll be doing a lot of travelling with the public transport system so I'll pretty much have to carry it around everywhere; and the books I need to use aren't light either.

Also, it goes without saying I want an Alienware for gaming. Anyone with an M11x out there? Just wondering what settings it runs games like Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creeed: Brotherhood, GTA IV, Crysis 2, etc.

Just hoping for some honest reviews for people whom have tried either one of these laptops! Plus any advice would be greatly appreciated (Like perhaps ANY discounts on these laptops. Those things cost an arm, a leg, and a part of my scalp)

Protein Shakers

Hey guys,

I've recently started using protein shakes during my workout and what a lifesaver it is! Well, not literally but you get the point. Anyway, my question is , my protein shaker smells really weird every now and then even after I give it a good wash. So my question is , is there any way to completely clean the shaker so it doesn't smell like the love child of hell and a garbage can?

Pandora Radio

Hey guys, does anyone here know of a good way to access Pandora radio since it's only for US listeners? I've tried some public proxies and it's sort of hit or miss and doesn't always work. The best results I've had so far is with hotspot shield but I read somewhere that it's not entirely safe, is this true?

Or if anyone knows a better, more convenient way of accessing all these us-only content, I'd be very grateful. For some reason I could access Pandora on my home WiFi (in PJ) a few months ago and after a while I couldn't and I really got into the radio stations so I'm trying to get back the ability to listen to it! =)

HTC Desire questions

Hey people, I just have a few questions:

Firstly how exactly do I find my user dictionary to delete certain words? I tried looking for it based on the Support page but I can't find the option. I checked and the 2 keyboards I have are the Thai and Chinese input one.

Also, does the Google Maps use only Data or does it also work with the built in GPS? Whenever I use the GPS and click 'my location' it always says it can't find me although it works fine when I use the Mobile Network data.

Lastly, I've been reading that apparently we shouldn't be using Task Killers since the android has its own way of managing the closing of tasks. Yet sometimes I leave it for hours and when I check the taskkiller those programmes are still running. Can anyone shed any light on this? Should I be using the task killer?

Thanks for your time!

However, this only applies to .mov files. My .avi files are previewing fine.

Any help would be appreciated =)

Takamine, Taylor or Seagull?

Hi guys!

I've been meaning to buy a new guitar and I'm not really sure which model is best. My budget is about RM2,500 and I'm wondering if I should get a Takamine G Series 340C Acoustic-Electric Guitar; A Seagull S6 or maybe a Taylor Baby Guitar. However, I'm no expert in guitars so I'm wondering if any of you could let me know which one has the richest sounding sound. Or perhaps there's another good brand within a similar price range that you'd want to recommend.

I think it's worth nothing that I also plan to use the guitar for performing purposes.

Thanks for your help!
