Should I pursue auditing?

Hey all I'm facing a major dilemma right now, having just graduated with a double major in Accounting/Banking&Finance. It seems like with most accounting students, their first choice after graduating is to go into audit. I'm not sure if pure accounting is really my interest, I found my Finance classes more interesting, but I've heard that audit experience is valuable in either case.

So here are my questions, pardon me if they're silly:
1. How valuable exactly is audit experience? If I had an offer to join an MNC as a finance analyst vs auditing in the Big 4, which would you sugest I choose if I focused on my LT goal of pursuing Finance?
2. What do most auditors go on to do after gaining their professional qualification and the relevant audit experience?

I feel like I'm driving blind right now. I've no idea what to do. Help!
