IT TECHNICAL CONSULTANT / MANAGER

Principal Responsibilities:

To interact with architects, designers and developers from vendor and internal teams
To work with project managers and colleagues to ensure projects are successfully integrated and delivered with other application taking place across the company/client
To analyse problems and propose solutions by presenting working PoCs (beta code)
To ensure that appropriate change control processes are established
To conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions
To involve in development of application using programming language & tools

Enhance efficiency of development/test/release process by developing tools/frameworks as required

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (in any stream)
3-10 years of experience in the IT/Oil & Gas/Telco/Food/Logistics/Banking industry

SKILLS
Technically strong candidates with 3 - 10 years of experience
Strong technical expertise and hands on experience in Java, JEE, Spring Framework, JSP, Struts, Hibernate.
Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, XML and RDBMS are an added advantage.
Knowledge of MongoDB, Spring MVC are an added advantage, .
Experience in web technology in HTML, Javascript, CSS
Excellent programming and debugging skills
Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest optimal solutions
Must have a strong interest in learning new skills/technologies and curiosity to explore various technologies and solution approaches.
Proven analytical & problem solving skills
Good communication skills and a team player
Focused on continuous service improvements using process and technologies as required
Enhance efficiency of dev/test/release process - develop tools, frameworks as required.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

SKILLS
Prior exposure to large scale complex projects involving multiple stake holders
Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion/Git etc.
Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs
Ability to analyse problems & use judgement effectively
Excellent listening skills, writing skills & oral communication skills
Good negotiation skills
Conflict resolution skills

Job Description:
• Diagnose, analyse, resolve, and repair faulty computers, notebooks and equipments.
• Perform upgrading of computer or equipment hardware and software at customer’s centres
• Changing of spare parts, assembling and disassembling of devices
• Basic computer networking at customer’s centres
• Onsite & Offsite customer support
• Installation of Interactive Smartboards, Projectors and Software Education Programmes
• Conduct Trainings on equipment handling and education programme

Qualifications:
• Junior Technician : Only the willingness to learn and work hard
• Technician : Certificate/Diploma in Computer/Electrical, etc

Experiences:
• Junior Technician : Fresh / No experience
• Technician : 2 years in computer repair & maintenance and computer networking

You MUST have these qualities :
• Have the ability to learn and pick up quickly
• Highly motivated to self progress in this field
• Work as a team and on your own
• Hardworking and Honest
