warranty issues

avinlai — Sat, 19 Nov 2011 19:16:21 +0800

Forumer you are complaining against: unknow(Mr. tan)

Item being sold: SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE (NEW,SEALED, ORI SME SET AND SOLD ON 1ST DAY LAUNCHED)

Date of transaction: 11/11/2011

Details of the complaint :
My customer bought galaxy note Ori by SME with me on 1st day launched 11/11/2011. After 2nd days he said the Screen colour got problems, but he don't want send warranty to Samsung service center because need to wait 2 weeks time to repair and request 1 to 1 exchange with me but i refused because i give him in sealed condition, new set (just arrived on11/11/2011) and open the box in front of customer.
He said Malaysia laws TTPM said customers have right to get refund or exchange from seller within 14 days from purchased date.

This was 2nd times Mr.tan requested 1 to 1 exchange.
1st time He bought S2 (new & Sealed set) with me, but 2nd day spoil and cannot charge battery. Then i replaced 1 more new set & sealed to him.
2nd time He bought this Galaxy Note (new & Sealed set) with me again, same problems again, 2nd day screen colour defected.
i suspect him drop it before!

Any seller sold any items to this Mr.tan and same things happen?

Is it my problem, or customer have the Rights for 1 to 1 exchange within 14 days from purchased date? With me? or Samsung?
but Dealer don't have rights to request 1 to 1 exchange with Samsung Service Center and Supplier lol.

I think SAMSUNG only provided Warranty service only , is not Guarantee or 100% money back guarantee!
Samsung Warranty policy said customers must carry in to service center.
