Hi to all the sifus here.
I am still a newbie in this and thus I have decided to open up a thread to ask for advices before I proceed to purchase.
Can't trust the salesman at the computer shops (no harm meant. just what I thought after meeting with lots of problems).
I will list down the things I would like to have on my new desktop and I hope it would be enough for you all sifus to help me out.

(1) I have a monitor already so I will strike that out from my list. My monitor is 23" and it supports HDMI. So I would be needing that on my new desktop.

(2) I will be using the desktop for gaming such as COD4 and I will also use it for picture editting using Photoshop and Lightroom.

(3) I heard that SSD would be a very good additional thing to be added in so I might be adding it in depending on the advices of the sifus here.

(4) I might be looking at SLI too because I might venture into video editting in the future but as for now, only heavy picture editting are my priority.

(5) I hope the budget of 3k would be sufficient. If not, I might be able to raise it a bit higher. But it will still depends on the advice given. I do hope the budget would be as low as possible.

I think that's all for now. I would be adding extra stuff if I remember about that. Thanks in advance!!
