Quoting from the news :

Even Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik has repeatedly voiced his dissatisfaction with broadband services in Malaysia.

In October, Dr Lim said the Government does not want broadband service providers to shortchange the public.

"If you (service providers) tell the people that you can deliver one megabit per second (Mbps) speed but provide only 128Kbps speed all the time, then you are leading the public astray.

"The pricing should be based on what is delivered and not the best effort by the service providers," he said.

According to TM :

"21.3 TM Net shall not be liable in the event that the Customer's own equipment and/or other devices is damage due to Force Majeure Event including but not limited to floods, fire and lightning strike while using the Service. TM Net's liability (if any) during installation and/or restoration of any reported faulty of the Leased Equipment shall not cover the wiring or cabling connecting the Leased Equipment or the Customer's equipment and the building management corporation or the building owner power house."

Does that mean that if my ZTE ADSL modem under the RM 77 package is insured of replacement should lightning damage occur ?

This is crime~ I didn't pay them every month just to have them limit my net usage~!!!
