Hard disk weak sectors keep on increasing

Hi.

I am using Acer Aspire 5750G, its age is around 2 months old.
All this while my laptop has no problem.
But yesterday it suddenly starts giving me a weird problem.

Its hard disk, a Toshiba 640GB is being reported by Hard Disk Sentinel to has some weak sectors, and 2 bad sectors.
I'm pretty sure this just started yesterday because I regularly check my hard disk performance.

At the start, there were only 100 weak sectors.
After every 1 to 3 minutes, it increase about 1 to 3 more weak sectors.
Now at the time I write this letter, it shows that the harddisk already has 846 weak sectors on its surface.
And what worry me is, now it increases about 10 weak sectors in 1 minute! Worse than yesterday.
To add some more, my laptop is now acting awkward; laggy.

What should I do now?
I tried to find Toshiba diagnostic utility but there's none from this company.
I already backed up important data in case of failure later.
Is it possible at this point to claim for warranty from where I bought this laptop?

I hope someone can guide me to get through this problem.

Thank you.
