Lost Cert, only copies for Interview?

Dear all, as the topic refers, I've misplaced my original SPM, Cambridge English 1119 and my A-Levels certificates during my spring cleaning at my home last 2 years ago. I do have the photocopies only.

Only my original Degree certificate is in my possession.

Currently looking for jobs offering better benefits and salary than my current job.

I can apply to replace my SPM certificate at Putrajaya office.

So now the question is that, is it wise to go to job interviews only with original SPM and Degree certificates?

Your advise will be much appreciated.

One of my old friend invited me to her housewarming party and this is my first time attending a Muslim housewarming party, but not Muslim weddings. Is it necessary to bring gifts out of politeness or just attend and greet them is enough?

Please share, guys

Forgive & Forget

Ladies and gentlemen,

Let's say, a friend that you really trusted and that person came from a broken family, raised by a relative instead of unloving parents and etc, you pitied that person and shared lots of interest. Best of all, that person is your friendly neighbour and also your schoolmate.

Unfortunately, you found out that your trusted friend likes to lie big and never help whenever you need help. Hence, doubting your friendship between that person and you.

One day, a big mistake happened when most of your stuffs lent to that person is all spoilt, broken, worn-out and so on. Money were lent also not returned. Costs RMxxx. Apologies were not offered. Not once.

Instead, that person turned her/his back on you and never ever gave her/his face to you. Pretend never known you after that.

An expensive lesson, indeed. To not trust people easily. And the word friendship has no more meaning to you after that 'incident'.

But to forgive and forget, with this situation, is it possible?

Would like your wise opinion. What would you do if you experienced this?

Serious Talk tagged.

Your reason to study

What is your reason to study?

I realized and found out that some study to be successful. Some study to earn more money. Some study because of interest. Some study for the future. Some study so that they won't get looked down upon.

Why it is wrong to study because of interest? Why it is right to study because for the future regardless your interests and feelings?

I've been taught that everything is money. And, i've experienced failures to strive, not for the best, but for nothing. Not myself. All i can think of when studying or taking exams is that, i want it all ended quickly.

I kept thinking, what is the purpose to be alive?

I want to hear out all your opinions.
Midnight call. Scam number? [Serious]

It was rare to have a call in the midnight, unless it was an emergency. However, this long number, surprised me. All i can think was, reject the call as it might be the 'famous-black-men-scam-call.' Besides, another thought was, i have a few close pals currently living abroad. Usually we keep in touch using e-mails only.

By the way, the call only rang once after i rejected it.

Anyone of you experienced this before?

Serious talk only.

Credit Card and Cashier Issue

Recently, I was doing grocery shopping with my brother. So my brother used his new-renewed credit card and he wanted to try it. The cashier was done with the groceries, he asked for the J-Card (Jusco Card). So my brother gave the J-Card and his new credit card to the cashier.

Then, my brother was staring at the bread store while I was staring at the cashier. The cashier returned his J-Card to my brother and continued with the credit card. My brother was still dreaming. And I continue to stare.

The funny thing was, the cashier didn't swap the card. He typed the credit card number into the machine. Then he stared at it & wipe the credit card.
I was thinking "Maybe he didn't know how to swap? But no way. He didn't do that to the previous customer."

After that, he slide the credit card into the machine, key in the amount and wait for the reply. Another odd thing was that he was typing something in his pocket. I assumed it was his phone. I panicked. But I remained calm. So, the reply slip finally came out, gave to my brother to sign it.

My brother signed it and gave it to the cashier. My eye grew bigger when I saw he stared at his signature before he put the slip into the drawer.
"What was that all about? He didn't do that to the previous customer." I thought.

So I told my brother about this. When I got home, I told my sister and asked her whether his doing was suspicious. She said yeah. Because that never happened to her.

My brother said he might check his phone for the time. Maybe.

So what do you think? Is this normal? [Serious Talk]

Struggling to study that's not your interest

As above, i'm really troubled. I'm suffering and struggling a lot every time my parents told me to study and take up a course that i never had interest even a slightest of it. Courses that is professional like Accounting, Law, and so on. They told me that 'Professional Courses' will be able to provide a secure future.

I really couldn't pick up the classes although i'm punctual. Whenever i mention of "quitting or changing courses", my parents and i would not talk for weeks. We even shouted at each other, says that i never respect them! I have lots of thoughts of running away from home or just kill myself. Besides, most of my cousins envy at me because i could further my studies after SPM as most of them have financial troubles or came from a broken family. They even avoided me because of jealousy. Same goes for their parents. My mothers' sisters especially.
