Troubleshooting bottleneck journey to Hi-Res

Hai, im newbie. my setup as below:

File: Flac 24 bit 95 kHz 3126 kbps

Device: Samsung S8 (Bluetooth capable of aptx. but no mention ldac in the specification).

Output device: Sony MDR-100ABN (yeah, old one this all i can afford at that time. lol)

Now im looking to get more juice of the headphone so im looking for Hi-Res audio player. i google, this headphone capable of Hi-Res audio. But when i tried using s8, the phone automatically set inside the developer setting when connected to this headphone as aptx 16bit 44.1 kHz. I wonder, is the bottleneck is the S8 or the headphone? thanks in advance..

YES you can use V1.4 cable. but you gonna get 4K 2160p at 30Hz only. i can confirm this because i have android media player that support 4k 2160p 60Hz. but with v1.4 i can output to 30Hz only, if 60Hz no connection detect.
