Water pump/break tank in condo

Hi all sifu,

I want to ask if lets say the unit that i al aiming for is actually on the SAME level as the break tank/water pump (lets call it level 16)

Would that be advisable to take? I am afraid it will make a lot of noise although is not exactly right besidr,but about 1-2 units away only from the break tank. Normally people say dont take above or brlow the break tank... but if same level will it be even noisier?

Alternatively, i could take another unit facing the facilities z 4 floors lower, level 12, but am just afraid the condo facilities view will result in high level of noise as well. But this one has the unit number of 3A... i dont mind the number la, its for own stay.

Pls advise and thanks in advance!

Ps: am looking into a mid-high end condo.

[HELP] Paisley or Bennington

hello bros,

Would need some help in deciding which property to get.

requirement:
*this property is for OWN STAY, 2 people max.
1) 20min drive to Damansara/PJ area
2) price RM700k (SPA).
3) undercon (completion around 2019/2020), so new development would give some rebates and bring the actual price down to about RM640K.
4) Residential title

I'm contemplating Bennington Residences @ Setapak or Paisley Metropark at Subang.

1) Currently i dont usually go Subang. Maybe less than 6 times in a year. I live in Ampang and work in PJ and there's no need for me to travel to Subang unless I've got a meeting there.

2) Bennington is a residential title, whereas Paisley is a commercial title (SA told me can't change to residential)

3) Paisley would be developed into a township, potentially bigger than DesaPark City, whereas Bennington sits on a mature township with lots of Chinese eateries, etc.

4) Travelling wise - Paisley would be slightly further as it actually sits in Shah Alam (but Subang address... dunnno how that actually happen), whereas Bennington has direct access to DUKE highway (which then lead me 20mins away to Damansara Uptown/ Penchala Link/1 Utama). Bennington is also nearer to my current house (10mins away), so its easier for my parents to come over next time, or even my brother to use the facilities there.

5) PRICE & VALUE - of course Bennington is more value for money mainly because its developer is a new one with only 1 track record of Ascenda Residences which is 80% completed whereas Paisley is by Tropicana. Bennington also give a partly-furnished unit (with 4-5 aircons, fridge, full kitchen cabinet set, and the wooden flooring which i really like in those rooms). here itself, i would save about RM50-70k worth of furniture, etc. and they also provide very nice glass folding doors for both balcony and kitchen which i really like.

Paisley on the other hand is a bare unit. Totally bare with a small balcony, but they have a township. Need to spend another RM60K-70K cash for renovation, and furniture for the kitchen, aircon, etc.

6) Facade - Bennington is of course a lot nicer with fancy stuffs, but it looks more like a hotel than a residential building, whereas Paisley is more residential feel.

7) Developer - Skyworld - doesnt have a track record to research on for their project. but for them to be able to get 28 Acres of land in KL, and the Skyluxe project in Bukit Jalil should give us a hint that they have very tight connection with the government / dbkl guys.

On the other hand, Paisley is by Tropicana - needless to say. they charge high price bcos they're one of the bigboys.

8) Size:
Bennington - 1,092 sq ft with a big balcony they called it lanai
Paisley - looking at 900 sq ft with a small balcony

hey guys!

on a friday night here pondering something.
a) should i get a white Honda City 1.5E (current model, but year make2014). getting it probably before CNY or latest is early Feb; OR
paying RM82k

b) wait until april/may to get my hands on the NEW honda city 2014 (yet to launch).
paying RM90k (approx)

things to consider:
- getting a 8k discount for the current city model, which means i can save more on monthly payment, which contribute to my plans in buying my first property in august/sept this year!

- pay 90k for NEW CITY..and MIGHT slow down my plan to get a property. plus need to pay around 150bucks additional for the monthly payment.

- need to get property fast as price as really rising like shit.

- want to have the luxury to quit my job any time if needed to.

- no girlfriend. the girl that i like is very high maintenance (she's above average, but spends like a rich girl because parents are supporting her although she's already working for like 2 years) and no point for me getting even an expensive car just to impress. after all, she and the car is the same - it will deteriorate.

NEED SOME ADVISE GUYS!

hey guys,

i'm actually contemplating on this two options:
1. brand new civic 2013 model (115k)
2. second hand civic 2010 model (around 80k)

it actually made a difference of 300-400bucks for my monthly loan of 7years.

dont know which to get. any comments from current users of secondhand civic year 2010 onwards?

also, just some questions:
3. are all the interior seats in civic (here in malaysia) beige in colour? i tried finding for other colour like black fabric or so, it seems i can't find it! the only dark colour is the leather seat which i dont really like.
