hi all.. recently my pc keeps on hanging on desktop, later on i found out it is my sata cable problem because i checked with hd tune pro. checked hdd no bad sector just the ultra dma crc error count reports sata cable problem. but now i have changed the cable and my pc is working fine now, but the health status still shown warning... how do i solve it? thx

hi all. i have a question with processor max temps meaning. If the processor details stated the Max temps such as my C2D E8400 Tcase is 72.4C, if the temperature reaches higher than 72.4C, it is consider as overheat right?

my pendrive don't know why it suddenly became all files are corrupted. it is a sandisk 1gb. how come those miscellaneous file are more than 1GB!!?? I have many important files inside !! Wat to do??

my friend giv me his china brand cpu cooler... i think is china brand one, becz is made in china... so i wanted 2 replace my stock intel cpu cooler... is it better to use china brand cooler or stock intel cooler...?

btw, he just use only 1 week... becz he changed another cooler master cpu cooler...

cpu frequency keep changing on xp

I 've just bought a 2nd hand intel e2180 dual core processor... but the frequency keep changing from ori 1.8ghz to 1.2ghz... i dun wan it change... already disabled intel intel speedstep tech... but still remain same... may i know how 2 let it stop changing?

Pentium dual-core e2180 1.ghz
asus p5kpl-am
1 gb kingston
win xp sp3 32-bit

(previous p4 cpu dont hav such problem...)

Seagate HDD problem...

Hi,

2 weeks ago i have sent my faulty Seagate HDD 160GB to Seagate Seacare centre @ summit. Today i have received a replacement product, but it is more terrible, install windows xp halfway, hdd suddenly shutdown, after restart setup, finished windows setup, installing driver, the hdd went down again. I reset but the bios cant detect it. Must switch off mains and start again...

It replace me a faulty HDD?

Hi, just now i have installed latest msn messenger to my pc. But the problem is, I can't view any contact at all. I reinstall msn cz I formatted my PC just now. so how? I tried reinstall, but doesnt work. When I run the setup again, it keeps telling me my PC already installed the messenger... how? I tried use my eee pc, I can view all my contact, but my desktop... haiz how??

hi, just now i copy some files to my pendrive. by the same time, i also plugged in my card reader that never used for long time. suddenly, my whole pc hangs. then i reset my pc... after reset, my pendrive display it is not formatted. ok so i format it, but now it display my pendrive capacity is 8gb... is that real? 1gb -> 8gb unbeliveable ...

hi all lyn forumers, i wan to ask some question here. I have bought new mobo and RAM for my old celeron yesterday. after install all software i run my game: dota-lag at low setting, cs1.6, nfs mw and C&C generals also lag at low setting 800x600 resolution 16 bit.may i know wats the problem>? cz gma x4500 is the latest intel graphic accelerator rite? but why still lag. box said it support dx10, but no use d? why?

celeron 2.8GHz 775
asus p5qpl-am (already set max memory = 256MB)
2GB mushkin ddr2800
hitachi 80gb

any solution? or realy need to buy a gc? cz currently i have no money ady...

hi all, i m not sure whether to post my topic here...

K, i have some problem with my old rig, I dunno why it, suddenly very lag when playin games, dunno whether it is my gc problem. when i play dota, it lag like hell (when 5v5)... nfs most wanted also lag, counter strike when many ppl also lag... flash game no problem...

is it my gc problem?

recently, i 've downloaded google earth, but it will lag down my pc, when i minimize it, try open my computer or other programs it will be very slow.... but after i closed google earth, my pc back to normal. anyone knows what the problem?

still got sound lol, just only have the bzzz sound, i m using sonic gear morrow 200.

hi, its me again, i have some question with my previous rig. the problem is there is a safety remove icon at the clock there, display it can remove my sata HDD. is it a bug? anyone have this kinda of problem b4?

HI, i Have just upgraded my pc today... after sucessful installation of Windows XP SP3, after restart my pc go PITCH BLACK!!!, NO beep or anything.....

i have remove the RAM, and install it back again, but still same, i m using onboard GC.. checked all power cable. but still diddn't work.

i have changed mobo, cpu & ram only...

my spec:
Dual Core e5300 2.6Ghz
Gigabyte g31-es2l
1gb ddr2 800 kingston ram

i wanted to help my friend ask, what could cause that? blank screen, & the pc got beep beep sound. why? gc spoilt izzit? all fans are running. Gc one are also running. i tried to help him remove the graphic card & insert back to the slot but no use.

he said, after he add one 1GB ram to his pc, many problem occured, first day, blue screen, then after 4 days gc spoilt... the RAM he bought is Strontium, 1GB DDR2...

izzit the RAM cause the problem.? so how? GC really spoilt? bought this year febuary only eh...

but his mobo got intergrated graphics, so now r using intergrated graphics temporary... until the card fix?
