Good evening and I do know that our government had control the mask selling price at retails selling at RM75 but mostly was manufacturer by unapproved sources and some even dont have company and cert to prove that the mask are to prevent the virus like Covid. Therefore I will be getting 1ctn of Medicos Fluid Resistance Sub Micron Surgical Face Mask only at limited stock. (1 box X 50pieces) selling at RM120 fix price and only COD at our neighborhood and limited stock.

看到有很多人在买口罩，卖口罩，也不懂买的对不对，会不会被骗，只是防灰尘还是什么。有人 pm 我叫我帮忙解释一下，避免大家被骗。我本身是读 Biomedical engineering 的，之前也有在卖 medicos 的mask, 所以略懂一些，专业的不敢讲，但是 basic 还是懂一点。
首先要看的是 ASTM level
ASTM level - American Society for Testing and Materials。总共有分3 个等级:
等级1(ASTM level 1，最低级别)
等级2(ASTM level 2 ，中间级别)
等级3(ASTM level 3，最高级别)
它们要怎样区别这3个等级呢? 其实很简单，就是根据 mask 的 5 个性质来区别
1. BFE - Bacteria filtration efficiency (细菌过滤效率，越高越好)
2. PFE - particle filtration efficiency (粒子过滤效率，越高越好)
3. Breathability Resistance，Delta P (呼吸的顺畅度，Delta P 的 value 越低越好)
4. Fluid resistance (液体的阻挡能力，越高越好)
5. Flammability (着火性质，不会着火的当然好)
一般医疗用的 mask，surgical mask 最低程度 BFE 和 PFE 一定要达到 95% 或以上，95% 一下就不是了，可能就是隔灰尘的了。 ASTM level 2 和3 会到 98% 以上。
还有一个比较重要的就是液体的阻挡能力
ASTM level 1 - 80mmHG(压力的单元) 或以上
ASTM level 2 - 120mmHG(压力的单元) 或以上
ASTM level 3 - 160mmHG(压力的单元) 或以上
下图我会放我自己一盒mask 外面该有的 label再解释代表什么意思。
PM 0.1 = particulate matter in 0.1 micrometer
就是说它可以有效地隔离 0.00000001 米的微生物
Type ii - 根据medicos 的官方网站它是属于 ASTM level 2 的级别
CE- conformity Europeene,通常合格的医疗设备，或者电子产品都会看到这个 logo 的。好像手机的充电器。没有这个 certified 是不能卖的。
