PCIe Power supply connector question

You guys know the power supply connector that comes with the GC nowadays.... one side is the 6 pin PCIe and the other end 2 molex head?

My question is : Is it better to plug each of the molex head to a different power line from the PSU OR just plug into any 2 available molex head will do? Of course this is because my PSU does not have a separate PCIe power supply

DVI to HDMI adaptor (not the usual kind)

Usually the adapters are DVI male on one end and HDMI female on the other right? With this you attach the adapter to the DVI port of the GC and use a HDMI cable to connect from the adapter to the LCD.

I came across the "reverse" type. ie. HDMI male on one end and DVI female on the other, which means this adapter is for plugging at the HDMI port behind the LCD and use a DVI cable to connect to the GC's DVI port.

My question would be are the 2 setups giving the same kind of PQ? Does using a HDMI cable or DVI cable make any difference at all? Will audio be carried through the DVI cable since it does when I am using a HDMI cable with my Nvidia GC. From what I understand it shouldn't be any difference, since both carry the signals digitally.

I'm interested in the "reverse" adapter as I need my PC quite close to the wall and having the normal DVI -> HDMI adapter behind the PC takes up another 2" behind. (yes... the inches matters to me )

Anyone using this "reverse" adapter?
