Blackberry Hangs while trying to back-up

Hey,

Everytime i try to update my BB9900 it hangs at smart card options 1 of 1. So i remove that from the back up and it hangs at the next one; recipient cache 1 of 1.

So not sure what to do here. I googled and there wasn't much help, except empty browsing cache and just wait....

Anyone know what this problem is due to?
