Notebook random shutdown

Asus Notebook G71G Series
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 2.0ghz
4Gb DDR3 ram
Nvidia GF 9800GS 512mb DDR3
1 Tb HDD (2x500)
Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1

I sent my my old G71 unit back for inspection and they said they couldnt solve this problem and gave me a new unit. ITS STILL HAPPENING.

My unit keeps shutting down randomly when heavy gaming. It doesnt show anything like BSOD. The screen just goes black and it restarts on its own. It can happen in the first 5 minutes, sometimes can last up to 4 hours.

BIOS and all my drivers are up to date. I didnt even upgraded to SP2, still on SP1(in case of beta bugs). I did memtest and chkdsk everything was fine. Burned a Vista Startup Disk for startup repair and it said nothing was wrong.

Evenlog says error id 6008 "The previous system shutdown at <date/time> was unexpected"

I did a test few hours ago, its fine if i left the game on idle, so im guessing it has something to do with stressing the cpu or gpu

My first thought was overheating, on idle my gpu temp is at 60-65C and my cpu is at 48-55C. Is this higher than normal and can it power down my comp at a certain temp? how do i change the temp limit if there was no option to change in BIOS? I used SpeedFan & Everest it doesnt detect the fan to speed it up.

Other forums said it was:
- low voltage to the RAM/timing
- not enough power/PSU (which i dont think so since the adaptor is twice as big from normal laptops')
- firmware

Any suggestions?

P.S. its new. no dust in vents.
