Check this out guys.......well ....this is more for head-fiers who want to power up their high-end phones with some excellent amplification.

I'm not a promoter, so in short CEC is Japanese-based, and they have been selling some hifi gear (mainly CDP, preamp, amp etc) locally thru a distro...Tong Lee I think but I auditioned them at Music by Design...

A headamp that can also be used to power highly sensitive speakers (>90dB please)....with balanced input (XLR) or usual RCA....2 sets of output with separate volume control...... size is similar or close to that of Benchmark DAC-1 but of course this is not a DAC ...... drives h/phones at 1W (impedance ranging 16 -2000 ohms!....now beat that )

Heard them at Music by Design the other day, very dynamic, powerful and controlled....if this doesn't drive ur h/phones (including the K701 where bass is not its forte, u can actually hear respectable levels of bass driving them with the HD53R). Overall... cool gadget...quite impressed!!

But definately not very portable as it ~3kg and chassis is metal, so no..no for you portaphiles

Apparently, before I auditioned them, some dudes from this forum (news courtesy of the dealer) already went there with their K701, HD650(with Zu mobius cable), Philips HP1000, and of course Grados (duh....MbD has the GS1000 in stock d). Anyone who has them or heard them paired with their good-ole phones care to share your exp?

Yes, yes, how much they cost....not too much, just RM2k(negotiable i believe hehe), but nobody ask u to buy them, just drop by for audition and experience some prestige sound sig that should come with owning nice cans!!

I shall surely pop by again soon to try them out with the GS1000 (~4k very simple looking phones with very huge ear cups...larger than my K701 i believe).

Anyone with more foresight on these amps (apart from knowing there's an improved version 8.0.....I think the one I heard is the basic HD53R)....kindly share...sorry for no gushing reviews.... I don't really believe in that kinda thing after reading so many of those so just go listen and decide for yourself.......thx!!!

Edifier 2.0 R1900T2 speakers

Hi there,

Selling the following:
Edifier 2.0 stereo speakers R1900TII (R1900T2) bought 1 year ago but never had time to use them.
Brought home new in box from showroom and tested at home to ensure working then repackaged back into box till now.....too busy to take them out again with so many other toys to play with and work/date of course

Comes with original box(immaculate), manual, receipt of purchase (RM290 then).
Selling for RM190 neg. as it's truely new and comes in the nicer (IMO) rosewood side baffles compared to the newer R1900T3 (all black). The speakers are simply immaculate, no scratch, dents or chips and not even burn-in yet.

Price negotiable but pls no lowballers (will not entertain). Selling only to make room for new furniture.
