Aorus X399 No Post

Hello.

Ive just finished building 4 units of Ryzen Threadripper 2950x. All 3 units is up and running without any issues except for 1 unit. It seems that the particular unit cant even post with nothing on the monitor.

At first this unit cant even turn on. I dont know whats the issue. I reseat the ram, proc and even pulled out mobo and installed them all all-over again. After that, magically the pc is able to turn on. But now stuck with no post and error code 00.

As u can see in the picture, the mobo led is stuck at DRAM. I tried changing with working ram and even try to boot with single ram. Also no avail. Does this mean the mobo ram slot is kaput? And i need to change mobo?

New pc setup wont post

Hi all.

I have finished building two Threadripper rig recently for my company. But it wont post.

This is my first time building a Threadripper setup, since i dont have enough knowledge and experience, i figure i just post it here to give it a shot.

The Dr Debug showing "E6" code on both of the build. Im not sure whether this is an error code or normal code. Since it wont post, im guessing the "E6" code is an error code. Please refer attachment for the code. Below is the hardware for the setup.

My build:
Proc: TR4 2950x
Mobo: Asrock x399 Fatality
Ram: Single kit consists of Hyperx Predator 3200mhz 8gb x 4
GPU: Msi Duke 1080ti
PSU: Corsair RM850x
SSD: Corsair MP510 480gb NVME
HDD: Firecuda 2TB
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH U14S TR4-SP3
OS: Not installed yet

I have tried googling on "E6" error code, and it seems that im out of luck. If anyone here have any thoughts or comment on this, please share it down below.

Threadripper power supply

Hello all sifus and friends.

I am building 1 Threadripper for work purpose use. But theres quiet few things i would like to ask for opinion.

After some reading and mini research, i found out that for TR build, theres a 2 EPS socket on the mobo. 1 x 4+4pin EPS, another 1 is 4pin EPS. In order to facilitate those 2 EPS socket, i will need to get the right PSU.

The question is, can someone suggest me which PSU should i opt for and how many watts do i need? I will not do any overclocking.

Cos the result i found online is too vigorous. Some of them suggest to just connect the 4+4 EPS and leave the other 4pin EPS as it is. Theres also some of them saying that the pc will not run smoothly without the second EPS connected. So i figure i ask the question here myself.

1. Ryzen TR 2950x

GPU Temperature Goes Till 80c++ and keep on rising

SOLUTION:
Well guys, it looks like i've found the solution for the issue. It seems that the GPU Braces/Bracket/Holder (Cooler Master) is causing the issue. Whenever i remove it, and start running Furmark, the temperature is back to its normal state. Temp maintained below 70c after 30 minutes Furmark.

I never thought the temperature issue is caused by the GPU Braces/Bracket/Holder.
