Who will be the next Pele

Since its debatable about who is the best footballer of all time. Here I am conducting a poll to find out who is the next Pele.
Maradonna claimed he is the best with majority of the world populace or the masses including web denizens voting for him
There is a separate group, especially FIFA et la or officialdom , voting for Pele.
Messi I noted has a poll here. Will he assume Maradonna's title? Thats for you to decide.
Similarly I have this poll for you to decide who is the next Pele. Since a number of you have called Rooney the white Pele.
IMO its Mario - a natural (not just because of his skin colour only or like mine ) - the one and only black Pele.
Vote your say!

FA 'kickstart' Campaign against Racism?

Two burning issues are on the hotplate for the FA to handle;
namely Suarez & Terry alleged racist remarks.

IMO both Suarez and Terry need to be reprimanded and suspended or penalized IF the FA is serious about stamping out racism in football

Now that Suarez is rightfully charged why isn't Terry?

2010 Africa Cup of Nations

The 2010 ACON aka Orange ACON just got underway with host nation Angola tied by Mali. What a thrilling come from behind (4-0 down) by Mali (note Keita) which stunned the local crowd which were prior entertained by 'the most money spent on an Africa Cup of Nations opening ceremony in history.'

Anyways my bet here is Côte d'Ivoire team to win with Drogba top goal scorer.
Scotland National Team

Scotland Manager Burley just got sacked
Whats wrong with Scotland?
Scotland got rubbished by a Welsh team who were without half a dozen top players including James Collins and Craig Bellamy.

Watching the game I was mesmerized by Aaron Ramsey (next Fabergas?)

Heres the quotes from Craig Brown, former Scot Manager

QUOTE

We virtually had our strongest team but for maybe missing goalkeeper Craig Gordon and midfielder Scott Brown.
So we've got to say that result is a real body blow. Unfortunately, as Billy Dodds rightly said in commentary, you expect the substitutes to come on and show attitude, make an impact. Doddsy was an impact sub, there was no-one better to come off the bench and enliven things. But we had Wallace on, Riordan, Kyle, Robson, McCormack and Fletcher - they all came on and I looked in vain to see real impact

QUOTE

There was no impact made and no leadership. I was praising the captain Darren Fletcher before the game. And I was saying what a wonderful example he was. But when you're in difficulty you need a man there, a real man amongst these boys to take a grip of them and get them organised.

QUOTE

The third goal was wonderful play by Aaron Ramsey.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/i...als/8360774.stm

Question is Aaron Ramsey going to be a superstar?

English Football Authority

The EPL season has begun with lots of Manchester City Controversies (Title buying etc) and an inordinate amount of complains against Manchester United being favoured.

Today the British Sports secretary threatened the FA that the Government will withdraw political and money funding unless they implement recommendations made four years ago.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle6847064.ece

Lord Burns was asked to conduct a review of English football's governing body by the government at the end of 2004, following a year of controversy for the FA,

The Key problems were;

Potential conflicts of interests among FA board members
An unrepresentative council
Lack of confidence in the disciplinary process
Too much power being wielded by the Premier League
Lack of representation for the grassroots game

The Lord Burns report, published in 2005, called for a streamlining of the FA and recommended the introduction of two non-executive directors to the board and wide-ranging reform of the largely white, ageing and male FA Council.

Should FA reforms be implemented?
If not why not?
