Windows 10 program force closed, taskbar missing

My PC recently experiencing random program force close and taskbar missing. This happens a few days after I updated Win 10 to ver. 1903. Funny thing is, the taskbar went missing on my main display but not the secondary display. However, when the programs force closed, I can't restart the programs (eg. Firefox, explorer) and I had to restart the PC to make it functional again.

I updated my other PC to Win 10 ver. 1903 and that one so far no such issue (touch wood ).

Any ideas how to fix this?

The PC with issue: i5-3570, D3 8G, AMD 7850

The PC without issue: Ryzen-2200G, D4 8G

Sony Bravia TV neck stand with screws

Guys, I'd like to know where can I get these in KL/Selangor? I misplaced mine last time when I mount the TV on the wall. Now I wish to use the TV on table but these things are missing...

I submitted a query form to Sony Malaysia and they told me no more in production liao...

I was reading a forum thread and decided to filter replies to only one forumer. The replies then condensed from 11 into 2 pages. But when I click 'page 2' button, the forum page displays the last page of the replies without any filters. Is this normal?

Hi. I came across some China-made powerbank a while ago boasting that it can transform any USB drives into Wifi-capable external drive, including external HDD. I wonder where can I find those because I'm interested to convert my portable USB 3.0 HDD into wireless drive... I tried searching the Trade Zone here but no relevant results returned. Maybe my search term was incorrect? Anyway, your help is very much appreciated...

WTA: Is my PSU kaput?

My PC just started to power off recently like the cable's being pulled. The queer thing is, I can't power on the unit after that. Only after sometime (maybe several minutes) then can turn in on, but it will power off suddenly at any point. I noticed it can power off at POST, booting up and few minutes into Windows. Is it the problem with my PSU? I don't see / smell anything funny from it, though...

FYI, my specs (about 1.5 yrs old, never OC at all):
CPU - i5 3570
RAM - 2x 4GB DDR3 Kingston
GPU - Sapphire HD 7850
HDD - 5x SATA regular and green drives (I know, I'm a hoarder... )
ODD - old DVD-RW drive
PSU - Aerocool 80+ 700W

I tried unplugging all SATA drives save for the boot drive, still having the same symptom. And that boot drive is rather old (5+ yrs, WD 640GB) but I think it's still working.

Any clues?

Problem with the link on main site

The main page has the drop-down links for top forum posts, but the display is misaligned and the links can't be accessed because the moment the mouse hovers away from the main tabs ('Forum', 'Price List'), the drop-down list disappears. It wasn't like this yesterday. Are the mods messing with the codes again?

I tried FF v21.0 and IE v10, both having the same issue.

Slow HDD response

Hi guys. I bought a new rig few months ago and notice this peculiar thing. My HDD will somehow go into sleep/hibernate mode if not in use, because whenever i tried to access the files in it, it will take around 5 sec to open the window, then some more to open the files. But once access it, all will be fine, till I leave it idle again. I'm using Asrock Extreme 4 with i5-3570 and 8 GB RAM, Win7 Pro. I want to know if this is the built-in feature of the MB? FYI I have 5 HDD on a mix of SATA 1.0 and 2.0. I went into settings to 'do not turn off HDD' in the power saving features, but still the same thing happens.

My previous rig doesn't seem to have this issue. Maybe it's too slow to be noticed? The old rig was AMD Winchester at 3.2Ghz on Shuttle MB (SG95G) with 1 GB RAM, WinXP.

Any explanations are very much appreciated.

PC took a while to power down

My new rig was pretty snappy in operation (it's an i5-3570) until recently. Normally, when I shut down, it will do the normal routine, and when the screen is off, the rig will power off almost immediately. But lately, after the shutdown routine, the rig took around 15 seconds to power down. Is it normal, or should I concern myself with possible hardware failure?

Other than that, everything is working fine (even start up), except I can't perform Windows built-in back up. I think the HDD I'm trying to access is not stable...

Question regarding Windows 7 built-in backup

I installed windows 7 32bit earlier, thinking of getting some old programs running, but not really working as I imagined. So now I'm thinking of formatting and reinstalling the 64bit version.

My question is, in case the 64bit do worst, can I restore fully the previous installation from the built-in backup if I choose to backup everything earlier?

Drive sharing problem...

I want to enable the HDDs in my main PC to be shared through router. I managed to get one (D: drive) to work, but when I enable another HDD (E: drive), even with the same settings, I can't access E: from my other PC. It says "no permission to access" . Did I do something wrong? Please help...

BTW, I'm using Win7 PRO 32-bit.

I know Setup A works, but will Setup B works as well, considering the router will take the IP of the network printer in Setup A? Thanks in advance.

note: all networked devices have manually configured IP address.

(WTA) How to share DIGI BB?

Hey guys, I am currently using DIGI BB on my PC (HUAWEI E219 modem). I would like to set up wireless internet sharing through this PC using ZyXEL G-202 USB wireless adapter. How do I go about it? I tried following the guide provided by the adapter, but it seems to only support wired internet connection sharing. Any idea if I can get around it?
