Has anyone experience total lost..

I bang my car.. and the panel workshop has quoted the insurance... but seem its over their basis repair.. been advise for total lost.

Now workshop want to charge me for RM 500 for total lost..
is this a reasonable price?

HI,
Any use BUffalo Linkstation Pro DUo or similar NAS to backup SBS server before?
How's the result?
Does it capable to use with NTBackup?
Does it capable to backup system state, Database and Exchange store?
How long does it takes to backup 1GB file running 100MBps or 1G Bps? As I raed some article only 3-5MBps transfer rate over 1000MB NIC. Is it true?

Hi.

Does any experience problem using yahoo.com.tw email?
Recently the email is very slow.. downloading couple MB attachment may took an hour.
Download rate about 2kb below.
Testing using office streamyx, slightly faster, download rate 2-4kb. Took 30 minute to download 2MB file (hmm..like dial up )

Any one experience it?

I'm Using Dlink wifi router.
PackageStreamyx 512
Tested using other pc. Sasme result.
QOs all turn off.
browsing site is ok. Hotmail slow but ok. not slow like yahoo..

Other advise?
Could it be streamyx problem?
Unable to trace it.. yahoo doesn't allow icmp :\

Any one face this virus? One of my pc in office affected.

Trend micro able to detect and delete it but every time reboot i can see the virus log has detect such virus.
Try combofix, stinger,sysclean,spybot,SDfix, rootkitbuster.. in safe mode.. but still got log virus detected at booting. Possible rootkit /memory loaded.
Suspect this virus open some unknown connection. May be remote or downloading malicious code. Bandwidth of this pc has been consume. Not just that suspect its like spambot may send unknow email to other.

Just wondering any one has such problem, and solution.If no choise may have to format the whole pc.

Port Forward For WebCam

I want to setup port forward so i can view my webcam remotely.
I using ENt streamyx (fixed IP), ZTE modem and Zywall2
How to I set port forward thru multiple routing.

Ex.
My Streamx static IP :202.188.0.135
ZTE Modem LAN IP: 190.1.2.1
Zywall2 Wan IP :192.1.2.2 /
ZYwall2 LAN IP:190.1.5.2
My Webcam Int Ip: 190.1.5.100 :999

Me->ISP->ZTE->Zywall2->Webcam

Remote webcam open port :999

How do I setup the port forward in this modem and firewall router.
I have a look at portforward.com but the instruction is mainly for direct port forward.
ANy idea?

Hi guys.

1.Just want to know, any 1 here use the Jaring broadband for enterprise? RM199. Its cheaper than streamyx enterprise.RM418 Both are same speed.
How efficiency? Does its always down??

2.Have any 1 how efficiency of Jaring Office broadband(xDSL), what their price? They only state there GOLD Silver Bronze. Like this I cant compare it with the Streamyx SDSLRM618. Does Any1 know?? Pricy?

I currently using the TMNUT streamyx Enterprise.RM418. Just wonder should i go for the jaring Flite Broadband or Office Broadband.

Need some advise here
